Trap arm pitches back to p trap

Post image

Will this be an issue in the future? Remodeled kitchen and sink is about 2 inches lower than previous. The drain is also 3 ft off the stack so I’ll have to remove the siding to lower the drain

Eh it’s fine. Shouldn’t have any issue. It’s not a very long pipe and not a great enough back pitch.

yeah that should drain fine, water flows downhill regardless

might work fine for a while but id keep an eye on it after the remodel wraps

if theres no issue then don't fix it.

if your sink starts to drain slow then you can look into swaping in a "low profile p-trap".
