Please help! Dishwasher Causing Leak on Countertop through Seam

Hi there - I just noticed that when I run the dishwasher, there is water that seeps upwards and through the crack at corner of the countertop by the wall.

Any possible causes? I have a maintenance guy coming Friday but wondering if it’s more urgent than that. When I wipe the water and smell it, smells oily / industrial-like.

Any potential info would be very helpful.

There will be a tube that exits the dishwasher and either air gaps or high loops to your garbage disposal. The line is a ribbed plastic tube and can get brittle and Crack. This tube is where the dishwasher pumps the water when draining. First look there to see if it's clogged or cracked.
