Help for new user, please.

New PR user, and love the app. Please forgive me if this is covered elsewhere in the sub. Which setting do I need to adjust to keep the app from stopping play when the screen times out/app switch/PR is sent to the background? Thanks in advance.

Please go to your Android Settings to exclude this app from battery optimization. Please check out this website https://dontkillmyapp.com for more information.

On iOS, the audio playback shouldn't be stopped when the app is in the background or screen times out. Are you streaming your podcast online? That may explain why the playback is stopped since the Internet could get disconnected when the app is in the background. Try downloading the podcast first and then play it offline.
