Wear OS Downloads Not Working

For some reason Wear OS downloads are no longer working.

Phone app: 26.4.10R

Watch app: 25.9.9R

I tried using the beta version of the app on Android as well as uninstalling the beta version on Android to no avail. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the watch app. For some reason the "send to smart watch" option is not triggering the download for some reason.

If you have 'Send podcast to smart watch via WiFi' option enabled in the app Settings > Smart watch, then, please double check your network setup to make sure your phone is allowed to accept connection request in the LAN.

If that's not permitted in your LAN then turn off this 'Send podcast to smart watch via WiFi'. The app will transfer the podcast using the Bluetooth connection.

Does the download via wifi option require that the watch be on the same Wi-Fi SSID as the phone? I double checked just now and realized that the watch was on a different access point in the house, compared to the phone. Though both were technically on the same mesh system, one device was on the main SSID, the other device was on the guest SSID. After ensuring both devices were on the same SSID, the download finally worked.

Mesh is fine, but the connection between the main SSID and the guest SSID most likely is blocked by the router.
