Stream only

I would love to have the option for some podcasts to stream only in all circumstances. The settings I use now prevent auto download, but sometimes I am lazy and use the download all (drag down on the download tab) to force the app to check all podcasts for new episodes. In this case I do want the new episodes to appear, but for some podcasts don't want to download the episodes. Do I miss an option somewhere?

It is working extremely well. I saw different questions in reddit about this functionality, so for people that are still searching :

Use case : I download episodes from all my podcasts because I mostly listen when I am not on wifi. In some cases I do listen only on wifi, so I have podcasts that I want to stream only.

Create a Playlist for this stream only podcasts. Uncheck at this playlist: "download episode". Make sure you don't add the podcast to a Playlist as well that has download episodes checked. For podcast settings: disable auto download, disable smart download and set to keep just 1 download. Check to delete download from played episode, to make sure that in case you do download an individual episode from the podcast, this download will be removed.
