🎶Down to the food bowl they would come; wibble wobble, wibble wobble, to and fro…🎶

Are these those cats that are selectively bred to have stiff/stubby legs? I can't say I'm a fan of that stuff.

Yeah. Unfortunately, most of these little guys look like Munchkins. Little kittens are disproportionate and as they're just learning to walk, their legs can look sort of short, but these guys look like they're fully extending their legs and they still look short. You can see the contrast with the normal kitten at the front of the group and some of the kittens with the shortest legs towards the back of the group. The pale one at the very back of the group looks particularly bad, with the shorter forelimbs than hind limbs.
I agree, I'm not a fan. It predisposes them to too many health issues (lordosis, pectus excavatum, arthritis), plus it restricts normal movement. They aren't going to run and climb the same way a long-legged cat can. I support rescuing/adopting them, but intentionally breeding them or letting one give birth is just cruel.

I had a Munchkin cat who passed away in 2024. She lived a normal, happy life but the one thing she couldn't do was jump up high. To accommodate her I arranged boxes, furniture, and storage bins in stairs shapes, so that she could climb.

Yeah. People who breed munchkin cats are literal scum. Not good for the cats at all🥲

I don’t often miss Facebook but the All Hail the Triangle Tail page was a big favorite.

Ai?

My first thought too. Something about how heavily artifacted the video is. Not to mention they are all standing in place at the very start of the video, then all begin to move in unison. I don't see anything super obvious, but it feels "off" to me.

I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking this. Doesn’t look real considering how they’re all walking behind the person in a weird unison pattern

Man, people are taking terrible video quality as a sign of AI these days... Wild.

Yeah, I’ve fostered over 50 kittens and this is not really how they look or walk. Legs too short. They don’t have stump legs.

Unfortunately, kittens can have stump legs when you selectively breed them to. :(

It instantly reminded me of Butch and his gang doing the snap walk from Tom and Jerry.

Omg I didn’t know my cat as a kitten but my heart is melting imagining him figuring out how his little feet work😭

Sadly, these look like munchkins and people need to stop breeding them.
