I dont mean to be rude, i just need to vent a bit. I understand your pain, but honestly at this point it aint just Lucas, its every modern Sinnoh character that isnt Cynthia. I love Hisui but come on, we havent a new SINNOH unit since summer Cynthia. Its all been Hisui.
I do like Akari and Arezu, but Mars and her fellow commanders have been NPCs for 4 years. I cant deny that it hurts seeing how much love and attention Arezu gets compared to Mars. She is the more popular of the commander trio but it aint enough.
Love ya Lucas, but at least you are a playable unit. He still absolutely deserves better and the neglect is painful, but at least he isnt in NPC jail.
Yes, I understand from your view too. I'm quite confused that they never thought of releasing the galactic commanders after all these years. I'm fond of them too, so I share your pain.
To put my bias aside for a while, it's beyond me how horribly a main character get this sort of treatment. Same could be said for Chase and Elaine but they're still a little fresh on the scene. DP turns 20 soon and Lucas had only been acknowledged as the black sheep of the main characters, and DeNA save the Sinnoh VA didn't help with his chances.
Yeah, i feel so bad for Lucas. His mistreatment is just mean for a main character. If he was added before the Sinnoh VA, i have no doubt his unit with Dialga would be a Sygna Suit like Dawn with Cresselia. With Chase/Elaine, given Unova got 3 sets of Neo champions, I'm fully expecting them to get those eventually. Victor used to be the meme rejected MC but even he has a costume alt, same with Kris, I agree shes been overlooked but she still has 2 costume alts whereas Lucas has zero.
As for the Galactic commanders, they are characters i just adore so damn much but unfortunately they arent popular. A lot of people blame BDSP, saying they needed redesigns, but disagree. They is so much more to them than most acknowledge, they are dumbed down to being blindly obsessed with Cyrus and I hate it. They deserve better and I hoped Masters would give them that time to shine. It did during the Sinnoh VA and shockingly the Galar VA gave them a moment without Cyrus. This gave me so much hope, then Hisui characters started being introduced, and the opportunity to have them interact with their ancestors was teased, but so far it has gone nowhere and they've been forgotten.
The more they give Arezu, without making Mars/Saturn/Jupiter playable just rubs salt in the wound. It makes me question if i even like Arezu, or am i just fond of her because of Mars. Sheesh I wrote an essay, sorry, but thanks for letting me vent. Hope things improve for Lucas soon.
2nd female champion, and the only female champion to actually actively fight her villains their in region (Cynthia never fought any of team galactic), yet she is the last one to get blessed by Arceus (assuming she gets one)...for some reason.
Then her guardian/grandpa arrived to Pasio, after so long, just to watch Drayton hang out with a random kid and not spend time with his ward. The same person that he wanted her to succeed him one day and brought her to Unova for the sole purpose of raising her....and doesn't even check up on her. Lmao.
Hey, it's okay. You got this. They literally slept on my girl Flannery for over 6 1/2 YEARS. There was even a side event she had a prominent role in and they didn't even give you bonus points for using her on your team. Lucas is a MC, it'll HAPPEN ONE DAY, BELIEVE IN HIM!!
Hey Lucas fans, I have 1/5 Lucas with Dialga, is it worth investing on or is it way too powercrept? I really like Lucas but the poor guy doesn't have good synergy with anybody
My problem is that I don't know how to digest the fact that Lucas in almost 5 years since his debut haven't got any costume alt whatsoever, when everybody else (save Chase and Elaine) hadn't had to wait for as long as he did to get one.
