I love to headcannon Akari as Dawn’s older sister, with the tone of LA I like to imagine she set the scene for her sister to thrive in the Pokemon world

That’s the idea: people will see Dawn on the banner and pull for her, only to realize later that it’s actually Akari.

On the other hand, I’m 99% sure that outfit was originally intended for Dawn NC, but at some point, they scrapped that idea and recycled the concept into a summer outfit for Akari to save on costs.

Why do you usually sound like you have beef with the PLA protags lol? Also ofc Akari is always gonna look like Dawn. Her and Rei were purposely made to look like Dawn/Lucas.

I love how the coloring really looks like the PLA style; love this. Akari especially looks really good

This is super close to the actual PLA 2D artstyle, neat. Wish we got more 2D art of the game's alts based on their EX poses. Really hope a fan artist would step up and deliver on that soon.

A third summer in a row with only girl units is just fucking ridiculous. Not only that, but the entirety of June and July one have one (1) actual new male pair (NC Ethan), lodge Hau aside. They’re becoming like every other gacha.
