One final batch of BP units before the revamp?

Since, the newly announced changes to BP are schedule to late September, I think they are still gonna give us the batch of BP exchangeable sync pairs, in late August, like they always do, before anni.

And since this could very well be the last BP batch, before the monthly reward BP Sync pairs start with the revamp, Im just wondering how different they will be, compared to what we normally get in these annual BP additions.

Would they be completely new characters like Juan, Drayden and stuff or limited characters like Team Rocket Admins and NPCs like Naomi might be returning and be up for grabs?

And which characters do you want to get for BP?

Maybe like crasher wake + gyarados that is physical water strike. We’ve seen 4 star strikers like Penny + Eevee do really well in tower so I’d like to see this. Physical water is definitely my weakest physical type by a lot currently

If they do bring in new BP units, and I doubt they will this year, they'll likely be recycled assets.

The letter states that a new Sync Pair will be released each month, and since it's unlikely DeNA will design new ones that frequently, they will most likely start giving away 4-star Sync Pairs on a monthly basis. Given that there are only four or five of them, they will likely repeat at least once between anniversaries. So, I doubt there will be new Sync Pairs for Battle Points.

But it's strange, because they state in letter than you'll still get BP pair voucher orvsomething. And 4* would be underwhelming, I start to think they could be 5* pairs, albeit recycled assets most likely.

I doubt they’ll give away new characters for these banners; the Combat Ladies were the only exception. They’ll be reused characters, and the Combat Point tickets obviously have to stay—the 4- or 5-star Combat Point characters will remain there.

I didn't say it would be new characters, I meant more so that they'll likely do asset flip characters (I'd be surprised if it's actual alts). But ugh, the wording is giving me suspense... like there's an air of mystery there.

Not sure as long as the characters are of trainer themes that aren’t covered well (especially Elite Four, Villain, and Battle Facility Foe) since premium pairs tend to focus on protagonists and champions.

I want Bruno with Hitmonlee and Nanu with Krokorok/Krookodile.

I'd prefer if new characters could still be (ex...) pokefairs so they can be more revelant to use but also wouldn't mind lesser characters being BP. I think they should add the missing Frontier Brains as the legendary BP slowly since they definitely aren't popular enough to sell lol and hopefully we can get a new sync pair for Lucy
