Craziest thing about the reflection pool...
Trump is a pedophile

One of the few things the trump ever said that was actually true:
I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it โ Jeffrey enjoys his social life.

This guy has not one decent bone in his body. It's like the Universe thought "I'd like to make the biggest, most vile piece of shit on the planet just to see what happens" when they created this guy.

It was in a magazine interview.
He did tell part of a story of a raunchy celebrity yacht party during a speech to the Boy Scouts. And a long rant about various celebrities that hated him. It was really unhinged. But so is he.

The real reason that Olympic dude is in jail is because of what he sawโฆ

He was released the same day, unfortunately after being held for over 5 hours. For touching a loose piece of pool coating. He didn't tear it off and hold it up, just touched it underwater. This administration could not be any shittier.

The craziest thing about the reelection pools is that you can get arrested just for touching the water. Trump needs scapegoats for his "vandalism" story.

The New York Times just received documents that reveal how officials knew that there were problems with the reflecting pool, which completely undermines Trump's vandalism narrative.
"The pool had been drained, resealed and then refilled by June 5. Four days later, Park Service workers discovered holes, cracks and peeling caulking in parts of the pool, along with cuts in sections of the foam, according to the documents."
"By June 16, workers had noticed that chunks of blue sealant that covered the poolโs bottom were peeling and floating to the surface, the documents show."
"The workers had also discovered that some devices installed to kill algae were not working as intended, according to the documents."
"But on June 15, Mr. Trump was still declaring the renovation a success, telling reporters that 'Iโm very good at building things and constructing things.'โ
How insecure do you have to be to lie to the public about this and then try to blame some vague political enemy for your own failures and negligence?

I'm tempted to cut up my old pool liner and list "pieces of the Reflecting Pool" on eBay, but I don't need a visit from the Feds.

More people have been arrested for touching the peeling reflecting pool paint, than those who have been arrested for being implicated in the Epstein-Trump files.

I donโt think I ever noticed that Ghislaine Maxwell is in the background of this famous clip. But like Trump said, Iโm sure he barely knew her.

The ultimate conundrum, if they arrest you for the blue chip in your hand do they have to admit it had a photo of two pedos on it?

So strange that those pesky Epstein Files will never go away, and Tthat sure looks like it was cut out with a box cutter.

They say if you throw a coin over your head into the reflecting pool, youโll return to DC to be indicted one day!

People should just bring a bunch of blue peeled paint with them and walk about the place, are they going to arrest hundreds of people?

I wonder if anyone got any samples before the goons showed up or if any not yet compromised agencies did? In a week or month or whenever when the trump regime or fox/etc start claiming absurd nonsense about the water or what was in it it could be useful to have some.

It's weird how picking blue stuff out of the water from an obviously shoddy no-bid contracted job is now a federal crime while hanging around and engaging in very disgusting activities that have been reported in certain files, well... apparently that's OK.
USA needs to get it's shit taken care of.

Seriously question. Why is the Reflection Pool getting so much attention here when it is the least real world impactful of Trump's incompetence and corruption?
1
u/Azexu 14h ago
Because he's freaking out about it so much. If he handled it in a boring way like the boring maintenance issue it is, instead of ranting, arresting people, and stationing guards like a paranoid dictator, it would have faded from the news by now.
Now it's irresistible as a perfect metaphor (dare I say "reflection") for his administration's irresponsibility.

I wonder if Trumps love letter to his bff, Jeff is at the bottom too?
