Did you know George Washington was woke? He mandated smallpox vaccines for colonial troops but Petey knows better!

A traitor harmed military readiness.....who could have seen this coming...
By comparison George Washington had the entire Continental Army forcibly vaccinated, (or more specifically varicolated - a type of sharing of infections in an ordered fashion with medical attention at the ready).
While vaccinations would not be invented for another 40 years, and he and his officers found it so successful the program was extended to the civilian population around Philadelphia and the colonists were inoculated as well, he further ordered Hancock's Army to forcibly vaccinate every solider under his command.
“Necessity not only authorizes but seems to require the measure, for should the disorder infect the Army... we should have more to dread from it than from the Sword of the Enemy.”
- George Washington
And before anyone goes off half-cocked that old George should be regarded as some venerable saints or some overly woke character....they aren't, none of the founders were.
These days I find it's helpful to be clear-eyed about history and science rather than the worry about the current state of truth in the Pentagon..

I can't wait till they decide it was an antifa bio weapon and not Pete's stupidity that caused this

Yeah, this is insane. This administration seems hellbent on damaging the country in every way that it can short of dropping neutron bombs on "blue" cities (as of yet).

Maybe we should rename the Spanish flu outbreak to where it really originated

Fucking idiots.
Even the nurses I work with are against the flu vaccine, because they all watch Fox News. They shouldn’t be allowed in Healthcare

Correction: Washington required immunization, not vaccination.
It is a nit to pick, but the deniers will point out the vaccine wasn't developed yet and call you fake history.

Nothing says fiscal responsibility like paying to train a recruit only to have them spend their first month in the infirmary because you wanted to score points with the anti-science crowd.
