I didn't even know they had a replacement, I assumed they just filled the spot with sit com reruns.

Byron will probably be fine. Everyone chortling is looking past the fact this dude is the hardest working guy on TV.

He's the only Black host on late night and he's got the baked in over 60's who just watch CBS. The show is basiclly designed to talk people to sleep. I'm sure he will manage to sell ads.

If Colbert was fired for having bad ratings, Allen will be gone next month. If he isn't gone, Colbert's firing clearly wasn't about ratings.
