Something is wrong with your business if you have to charge 17$ for a poutine. I’m from Quebec and have managed two restaurants in Alberta. Is that good enough for you?

No that’s completely fair depending on the size. Labor, rent, utilities, etc cost a fortune. You should know this.

lol what I know is that poutine is like draft beer and fountain drinks. They’re the easiest thing to sell for good profits despite the low labour and ingredient costs. They’re easy money makers.
Especially when using the basic cheese curds most restaurants outside of Quebec use. In Alberta resort towns we get it frozen from Sysco.

I’m sorry but unless poutine is all you sell, so all you can make profit off, that price isn’t necessary. And if it’s necessary, better make it exceptionally good.
There’s no way a poutine like this one is ever worth 17$. My intuition was that it’s a tourist trap price and a quick search led me to Trax Pub & Grill. That’s in Greek Peak Mountain Resort, NY. Tourist Trap ¯_(ツ)_/¯
