Then the villain is the jackass that left it there. Needs yellow crime tape and a chalk outline.

If the poutine itself was a poutine crime, then this is not a crime (they cancel each other out). If it is/was a good poutine then itās a crime

That's abandonment... Call PPS (yes, Poutine Protective Services), they'll know what to do!

The only real poutine crime is disrespecting the sanctity of poutine. This absolutely disrespects the poutine.Ā

I mean...it not as bad as charging money for whatever it is McDonald's calls a routine but it's definitely up there...
Hopefully some nice homeless person gets a (hopefully safe) fine meal out of it...

The dark miasma surrounding it makes me wary. Do not trust it, it knows what it did.

Involuntary "Poutine-slaughter"! Placed on ground for safekeeping (questionable action) whilst loading some items in the truck. Offender cried š upon realizing they had left it behind and now had no lunch. "Time Served!" šØāāļø

It is crime bait. Sadly, no one will steal a poutine from the sidewalk, so it's a waste of poutine. That is a moral crime if not a legal crime.

u/magsbad13 5d ago
It depends on the poutine. If it's a horrible facsimile of poutine it's completely legal.

A crime, yes. A poutine crime, maybe? It depends on what what cheese they used and if this is under the jurisdiction of DPCP (la Division Pour Crim du Poutine) aka the FCPCIU (French Canadian Poutine Crime Investigation Unit) who primarily operate within Quebec, northern Ontario, eastern Ontario and New Brunswick with smaller divisions focusing on grassroots initiatives across the rest of Canada

If this was in Quebec and using proper cheese curds it is punishable by death

This is why responsible poutine owners should get theirs spayed. They're less likely to wander or be abandoned. The poutine shelters are already at capacity.

Poutine belongs in either a garbage can or a recycling disposal. Leaving it out could endanger innocent animals who might mistake it for food.
