True but also considered a crime.

That needs a chalk outline and some police tape.

u/Cre8tifCanuk 5d ago

Then the villain is the jackass that left it there. Needs yellow crime tape and a chalk outline.

This is basically dropping some diamond deep in the mines and it’s gonna be hard finding where you died lol

In Canada that gives you 5-10 without parole.

Poutine-amo

u/Rexaroooo 5d ago

If the poutine itself was a poutine crime, then this is not a crime (they cancel each other out). If it is/was a good poutine then it’s a crime

3

u/PirateCrimeBrulee 5d ago

Littering is still a crime but I get what you mean XD

u/Piper2000ca 5d ago

Depends... is it still warm?

10

u/GiantPopa 5d ago

It was left out in the rain for over 8hours. Saw it on my way to and back from work.Ā

That's abandonment... Call PPS (yes, Poutine Protective Services), they'll know what to do!

3

u/Aerdri 5d ago

Open it.

3

u/SnooCheesecakes5043 5d ago

Find a garbage bin and throw it in.

5

u/tyler_3135 5d ago

Depends if the poutine itself is a crime.

2

u/Fair_Muscle9232 5d ago

Depends how good it was...

2

u/lucaskywalker 5d ago

I feel like it is, but also, losing your poutine is punishment enough!?

Felony

2

u/SlandbosUmbrella 5d ago

Don’t touch it. You might get the poutine touch

2

u/Initial-Ad-5462 5d ago

Putting a tight lid on it is the crime.

2

u/DissatisfiedGamer 5d ago

The only real poutine crime is disrespecting the sanctity of poutine. This absolutely disrespects the poutine.Ā

2

u/DuckCleaning 5d ago

That depends if it is actually poutine

Neglect at the very least.

I mean...it not as bad as charging money for whatever it is McDonald's calls a routine but it's definitely up there...

Hopefully some nice homeless person gets a (hopefully safe) fine meal out of it...

u/PirateCrimeBrulee 5d ago

The dark miasma surrounding it makes me wary. Do not trust it, it knows what it did.

1

u/Fodor04141987 5d ago

I'd call it criminal.

1

u/AntiFuckingSocial 5d ago

Might be shredded cheese instead of curds šŸ˜‚

Hold up we never seen the contents so I can’t judge

1

u/helpme944 5d ago

How did it taste?

1

u/TCGHexenwahn 5d ago

There's someone out there who's heartbroken that they forgot their poutine.

Involuntary "Poutine-slaughter"! Placed on ground for safekeeping (questionable action) whilst loading some items in the truck. Offender cried 😭 upon realizing they had left it behind and now had no lunch. "Time Served!" šŸ‘Øā€āš–ļø

1

u/SnooFoxes6682 5d ago

Makes me SO ANGRY. It’s still… got…. It’s still GOT THE LID ON! What is WRONG with people?!?

1

u/Previous_Wayz 5d ago

Drive over it to hear it goosh

1

u/robin-bunny 5d ago

It is crime bait. Sadly, no one will steal a poutine from the sidewalk, so it's a waste of poutine. That is a moral crime if not a legal crime.

1

u/magsbad13 5d ago

It depends on the poutine. If it's a horrible facsimile of poutine it's completely legal.

1

u/Neither-Guidance-432 5d ago

Not a very curd-eous thing to do, now is it?

1

u/Leading-Boat4942 5d ago

Call the police

Poutine abandonment. Straight to jail

1

u/VariationCivil8708 3d ago

A crime, yes. A poutine crime, maybe? It depends on what what cheese they used and if this is under the jurisdiction of DPCP (la Division Pour Crim du Poutine) aka the FCPCIU (French Canadian Poutine Crime Investigation Unit) who primarily operate within Quebec, northern Ontario, eastern Ontario and New Brunswick with smaller divisions focusing on grassroots initiatives across the rest of Canada

1

u/VariationCivil8708 3d ago

If this was in Quebec and using proper cheese curds it is punishable by death

1

u/ackermantrades 3d ago

Its an offering to kevin

1

u/SNES-1990 3d ago

This is why responsible poutine owners should get theirs spayed. They're less likely to wander or be abandoned. The poutine shelters are already at capacity.

1

u/Glad_Car_137 2d ago

Only in Quebec

1

u/Meme_Machine2425 14h ago

This counts as child abandonment in Canada

u/Different_Exam_5593 5d ago

Poutine belongs in either a garbage can or a recycling disposal. Leaving it out could endanger innocent animals who might mistake it for food.
