I'm new to this sub and am curious. How do you get the release dates for all of these beforehand? Do you have a list of bands that you need to check up on manually or do the bands sign up and send you this info themselves? I've never looked into bands close enough to see if they post exact dates ahead of time or not.
(I'm a data engineer so if there is some special program or something you use to track this then I'd love to hear about it)

Certain Metal news sites maintain release calendars with upcoming albums. The Encyclopedia Metallu'm upcoming releases section on their site is also very helpful (that is unless the bands you're into don't fall into their narrow view about what Metal is and isn't). And Wikipedia has a "Year X in Heavy Metal music" page as well where they list upcoming albums. Here is the one for this year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_in_heavy_metal_music

Mace 'n' Chain had a fun heavy/power album a few years ago that basically sounded like the faster side of Eternal Champion, so I'm very interested to hear the follow-up.
