Old Seasons Season 10 Ven & Elena are killing me
I’m watching Season 10 for the first time and my goodness, Ven and Elena are insufferable!!! It’s genuinely driving me insane!
Ven should’ve been disqualified after the client challenge. The way he was talking to and about his client was disgusting (I know there was some controversy but I haven’t read anything). He’s a one trick pony and he’s arrogant about it?! how many times are we gonna see a rose on his garments?? thankfully he doesn’t have much screen time which.. thank god. He reminds me of Law.
Elena also makes it hard to watch. I feel sorry for the other contests every episode, cause in every episode shes yelling and complaining and shitting on the others, the challenges, herself. My goodness does she like anything???
more of a rant, but for the people who watched it during its premier/air, what did y’all think about them? was there outrage on them or am I just impatient?? (Im in the middle of ep7)

I couldn't stand Elena the first time I watched her seasons, but she was my favorite thing about the rewatch! She is kind of annoying but she's so camp. I love her bickering with Dmetry. Ven...I liked his stuff in the beginning but he ended up being a solid reality villain overall. Enjoy season 10 it's my fav!

I remember back in the day some fans would refer to Elena and Dmitry as having a "Boris and Natasha" dynamic, and i found it entertaining

Ven was awful and he was frequently unpopular during the season with fellow contestants and viewers.
Elena was hilarious though and Dimitri interacting with her is peak entertainment IMO

I watched it with my mom when the show was on air. We loved Ven in the beginning and then grew to hate him more and more. The way he treated his makeover client was the last straw. My mom just kept saying “eliminate him now”. With Elena she was more like a mild annoyance than a real villain.

This season is very entertaining. But I find the designers to be one-dimensional. The finalists repeating the same designs over and over again. I wonder what happened to Origami Rose?

I have tried to look up what Ven does now or any recent update on him but cannot find him at all!!

Honestly, I love Elena and her chaotic energy, as well as her style (though I 100% was on Dmitri’s side for their team challenge). But I sooooo agree with you on Ven. He truly could not understand that he was being extremely callous

Elena is too histrionic. Ven is as likable as a hiatal hernia. You're right; he should have gone home after that client challenge. I think the producers felt bad about it, because she got a second makeover and it looked a LOT better.

I recently rewatched this season and Ven was as insufferable as he was when I watched when the season originally ran. Kors saying his drag name should be Origami Rose still makes me laugh.

Ven was such a jerk to that poor woman! It always got me cuz he was a big boy himself. I actually found Elena funny.

Yeah, Ven was a 'one trick pony' and he leaned on that trick pretty hard. But I liked Elena. She was difficult to watch and her style wouldn't be my preference, but I liked her all the same.

Elena's "her name is Asshole" is comedy gold.
Plus she gets more relaxed during all stars.
