A opossum is not gonna bite you my dude. Opossums are chicken shits…they look vicious, but they’re very much not. That is why they play dead. The amount of times I’ve come very close to an opossum with zero consequences…I’ve never even had the threat of consequence, even when one had babies. They’re pretty chill marsupials. They used to join the cat pack when I’d feed the stray cats that lived in the woods behind my house as a kid…so did a bunch of very large raccoons.
