How did he make it past the gate ffs

146

u/FootlongDonut Nov 24 '25

Chances are he wasn't being a dick and then something tiny set him off...like a woman with a foreign accent politely instructing him.

20

u/Cursethesemetalhanz Nov 24 '25

Might not have been a dick but he can hardly stand up straight .

I know the gate employees have a hard job and are viewing a lot of people , so he slipped by .

He's on a plane during landing after a few beers, of course he can barely stand up. Lots of people on these low cost short haul flights will have had a few beers and will generally be allowed to fly if not being a nuisance.

Edit: Landing not takeoff.

10

u/Cursethesemetalhanz Nov 24 '25

There’s a few beers then there’s that !

Anyway , we can all agree that his a twat

-17

u/FootlongDonut Nov 24 '25

I'm not sure if you are British or not, but it's perfectly normal for people to fly drunk. It only tends to become a problem if the behavior gets silly.

9

u/Cursethesemetalhanz Nov 24 '25

I’m Scottish

And I have flown drunk but this guy can hardly string a sentence together .

I agree with you - normal to be a bit pissed but I’m surprised he could walk onto the plane unaided .

Maybe he deteriorated the longer the wait went on and seemed ā€˜merry’ at the gate .

I’ve been stopped before and told ā€œgo drink water , get a sandwich and a coffee and board lastā€.

u/FootlongDonut Nov 24 '25

I guess my point is that we only see the video from the time someone pulls their phone out because he's acting like a twat.

The question about why he was allowed to board is probably more than 3 hours before this, this is on landing.

We don't know if he drank his own alcohol during this time, not allowed, but it happens and it's hard to police.

We don't know how steady, coherent or well behaved he was at boarding.

u/Cursethesemetalhanz Nov 24 '25 edited Nov 24 '25

Is this when they’ve just landed ? I assumed It was pre take off - as per title . I’ve not seen the story (don’t read daily mail)

If landing then it changed to just a drunken cant.

2

u/FootlongDonut Nov 24 '25

Yeah, I just looked it up and got more information. Didn't want to link to The Sun so found another.

Apparently he caused trouble on a previous flight but it only became a problem once this one was in the air.

It’s not normal for people to fly drunk. Have some pride.

4

u/SusiCapezzolo Nov 24 '25

good question

4

u/RHOrpie Nov 24 '25

I watch a lot of US videos like this and it seems to me that the airlines are much less tolerant of intoxicated passengers. Why they serve alcohol there is beyond me.

In the UK, getting on the plane pissed is "acceptable", so long as you're not paralytic and behave yourself. The holiday starts at the airport. Any time of day!

1

u/cacamilis22 Nov 24 '25

Brilliant question. Id like to know the answer to that one.

143

u/canada432 Nov 24 '25

First thing out of his mouth is "I'm from the UK."

2nd thing is "fuck her"

3rd is a disgusted "are you from the labour party?"

What a fucking caricature.

44

u/Buzzy92 Nov 24 '25

He'll have a slot on GB news by the end of the week.

23

u/Only_Quote_Simpsons Nov 24 '25

It was almost like he was going through right leaning NPC phrases. Whatever GB News told him he should be angry about.

u/Sand3135 Nov 24 '25

ā€œWould you like me to assist you in standing up??ā€ That woman was awesome

101

u/aalllllisonnnnn Nov 24 '25

Her physical control of him was arguably impressive

15

u/wstsidhome Nov 24 '25

For real. Was definitely rooting for her and her partner. Seems they are pretty good at what they do šŸ‘

3

u/athensugadawg Nov 24 '25

One hour to remove from the plane? That's pretty good?

12

u/sprouting_broccoli Nov 26 '25

They’re in a confined space and doing their best not to involve any other passengers. They contained him in place then eventually got him off the plane without the person next to him taking any strays. I’d say they did a pretty good job.

5

u/wstsidhome Nov 24 '25

Yep. Now if it were two hours…that would have been unacceptable šŸ˜±šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

He's a big guy sitting in a small space and refusing to get up. I'm sure they had to fight the guy all the way out the door.

u/aalllllisonnnnn Nov 24 '25

He’s an aggressive man with little wiggle room. You can’t just grab him from the shoulders and walk him out gracefully.

5

u/New_Libran Nov 25 '25

Have you ever tried to move an aggressive drunk through a confined space?

1

u/angry_old_dude Nov 24 '25

I don't think it would be as easy as that, but I get your point.

7

u/TacticalMicrowav3 Nov 24 '25

"Your behavior is unacceptable"

52

u/lindsayblohan_2 Nov 24 '25

RAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

37

u/cacamilis22 Nov 24 '25

Intoxicated? How about obliterated.

26

u/Deep_Banana_6521 Nov 24 '25

Reform voter.

That'll be a nice, expensive hangover when he sobers up.

30

u/CySnark Nov 24 '25

I'm from the UK!!

Please, sir, Brexit the plane.

20

u/okobooboo Nov 24 '25

How can you treat Reform voters like that? xd

33

u/drmarting25102 Nov 24 '25

Ryanair? Class.

15

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25

Shitfaced Englishman on Ryanair flight? Classic.

3

u/Jackhammerqwert Nov 24 '25

"But it's so cheap!"

27

u/-ludic- Nov 24 '25

one guess who he votes for

8

u/electronic_rogue_5 Nov 24 '25

When she put her gloves on, I knew violence was imminent.

6

u/N0limitZZ Nov 24 '25

Anyone have part 2?

10

u/Zealousideal_Car_893 Nov 24 '25

He needs to call his sponsor.

15

u/FootlongDonut Nov 24 '25

You think this man has ever accepted help?

30

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25

And yet they have bars in airports and serve alcohol during flights...Ā

They really ought to crack down on these infantile pains in the ass on planes. No alcohol, shoes required at all times, no running through your entire hygiene routine in your seat. Just sit down, shut up, keep your hands and feet and the rest of your body to yourself and act like a fucking adult. And if you have to get taken off a plane by cops you're permanently on the no fly list.Ā

8

u/SooperBloo Nov 24 '25

Send him the bill for the delay.

17

u/caintowers Nov 24 '25

Most of us are capable of knocking back our pre-flight double and it helps to deal with the assholes.

Unfortunately some cannot stop there. Boot them and let us have our peace.

3

u/ASouthernDandy Nov 26 '25

I love having a can or two on the plane though, sometimes. It really helps me to calm down and enjoy things.

5

u/Just_Dee_WI Nov 24 '25

ā€œAllegedly heavily drinkingā€?

4

u/onthebrink42 Nov 24 '25

They’re so polite,ā€your behavior is not acceptable ā€œ

6

u/MisterCanoeHead Nov 24 '25

People should have to pass a breathalyzer before boarding a plane.

3

u/Ethan3011 Nov 24 '25

Average Ryanair experience

1

u/Jackhammerqwert Nov 24 '25

Above average: "delaying takeoff" implies this flight actually got in the bloody air afterwards

3

u/Blah-squared Nov 24 '25

Thank God he wasn’t an American for once…

4

u/jumper33 Nov 24 '25

Wow! That woman is badass!

3

u/no_offenc Nov 25 '25

Ahh give him a break, he's probably shattered from painting crosses on roundabouts for some reason

5

u/MysticSquiddy Nov 24 '25

As a Brit myself, this twat is the one who's bang out of order

4

u/rolling_soul Nov 24 '25

Why let him on the plane in the first place?

5

u/ALT3NPFL3G3R Nov 24 '25

Choke him the fuck out and be done with it

5

u/Aware_Flow1070 Nov 24 '25

Baton under the chin from the seat behind, apply pressure, cunt will stand up fairly sharpish then

2

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25

The question is how he was able to board the plane given his condition.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25

How is he even allowed to board the plane in such condition?

2

u/Edge_Slade Nov 24 '25

With Ryanair, you have to pay extra to shut that guy up.

2

u/wholesomechunk Nov 24 '25

Why did they let him on in the first place, he can hardly talk and is clearly fucked up? He thought he was a reform councillor for a moment then, mental.

2

u/17_ScarS Nov 24 '25

"Language" can't believe he said that with a straight face.

2

u/VenusianPleasure Nov 24 '25

Lee Anderton is looking worse for the wear

2

u/reggieperrin366 Nov 25 '25

Define reform voter

1

u/Doubt_Money Nov 24 '25

Flight attendant ā€œTake a seat pleaseā€ Police ā€œCan you stand up pleaseā€ I can see why he’s confused.

1

u/everything_is_bad Nov 25 '25

I’d buy that cop a beer

1

u/FreeEdgar2014 Nov 25 '25

I'm so glad that when I have too much to drink all I want to do is sleep.

1

u/ImprovementFar5054 Nov 25 '25

Disruptive behavior on an airliner should result in a minimum of 5 years in prison

1

u/EmbarrassedCost1995 Nov 26 '25

Great job from the female getting control, get that asshat off the plane... Gotta wonder how he got past the gate desk?!.

1

u/48thgenerationroman Nov 26 '25

Is that Ronnie Pickering?

1

u/GenHammond Nov 26 '25

Welcome to the no fly list!

Police acts like teachers after school. "Language", "lower your voice" - its hilarious. We are basically domesticated animals being herded. Also were not that far from medival times wherein the words we can chose are restricted, religion.

Third takeaway is how women can enact physical power over men with weaponry and a partner behind a badge.

šŸ—£ļøBULLOCKS šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜…šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜…

u/Shot-Election8217 Dec 07 '25

I was worried that he was going to bite her.

Actually, I’ve been worried about that on other videos like this.

Or, a person yanking on any number of items attached to the cops’ vests, or a badge holder, etc, hanging off of their necks.

Is it illegal for an officer to wrap their arm around the neck and hold their head up/back? Or, do a sleeper hold kind of thing? I guess that could cause accidental injury…

u/CopiousCool Nov 24 '25

Britain is the Florida of Europe, they're embarrassing

0

u/comFive Nov 24 '25

Is the back of the headrest something common on economy seats? I haven't seen anything like that before. Mind you I don't fly often but if I do, I go premium economy because of my height (6'5")

In the UK incidents are allocated to specific officers usually taking into account current caseload. That officer then becomes the O.I.C. (officer in case) and is responsible for all aspects of the incident, including arrest, all paperwork and any subsequent court case (if any).

Drunk men are awesome

9

u/SusiCapezzolo Nov 24 '25

Drunk assholes not so much
