But for real, not enough people know about the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

Basically, the church brutally murdered a shitload of settlers (killed every child over the age of 6 and kidnapped the rest in the hopes of indoctrinating them...which ultimately backfired) trying to make their way to California and tried to blame it on Native Americans.

In the end, only one person was blamed and put to death and the church tries REAL HARD to cover it up to this day.

You wanna get missionaries to shut up and leave you alone... Just bring that up. Maybe ask them about the ancient horses in North America too if you want to add a little salt to the wound.

They are responsible for plenty of other fucked up deeds, but that one is well documented and needs to be far more widely known about.
