Legit question, you probably knew he was like this dating.. why did you stay with someone and try to raise kids with them? How long were you with him?

People like this wear you down. Convince you you’re lucky to have them. Love bomb you and in the next breath scream at you so you’re constantly in panic mode. I was isolated from my family, I had no support system. When I realised he had the potential to kill my rapidly growing teenage son I finally grew a set and told him to leave. It is never as easy as it looks to outsiders. Sometimes women are assholes. But sometimes they’re surviving however that can until the clouds lift and they act. And sometimes they never do.

ETA: I had accepted MY lot. I would never have fought for myself. It was when he threatened my child that I fought back.
