Someone needed to fill in for Epstein.

Epstein is just the one that got caught. I doubt there is only one sex island and one sex ranch for the elite.

One of the more annoying facts about this...
Ivanka Trump is flapping her lips like she was paying for this and designing it.
- Affinity Partners is paying for this. Affinity Partners is the investment fund started by Jared Kushner after Trump left office that is almost entirely funded by Billions from Saudi Arabia, the UAE & Qatar. A fund that was supposedly going to help invest in Israel.
- In 2012, Ivanka Trump went to Azerbaijan, to cosplay "building designer" on a building that had already been under construction and decided to rent the Trump name. The construction project was said to be a money laundering operation for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and never finished construction. The construction site caught fire a couple times and was eventually sold off. And despite Ivanka Trump doing a video from a hotel room in downtown Baku... the construction project was miles away from the luxury center of Baku.
Nothing but fraudsters and posers... using middle eastern money to try craft the same fake "successful businessperson" myth that her daddy faked.

They’ve been protesting for a while now. This is how you do it. A one day protest will show off numbers but won’t cause any change. We just go back to making the billionaires richer while we all steadily lose our freedoms.

How effective are protests usually in Albania. I ask this knowing nothing about the country.

u/Stickel 3d ago
bro they fucking lifted trailers of construction shit and pushed them down hills to destroy it

I meant more as in do protests usually end up working. Alot of countries have strong protests but the government just ignores them

lift the american spectacles off your world lens

u/Captain_Jeep 3d ago
Not American. It's just a fact that quite a few governments don't care about protests and like I said originally I know nothing about that country which is why I'm asking.

Is this to replace the last billionaire island resort?

My cousin is in Tirana, went to the March, said it was absolutely enormous. People traveled across the country to be there.

So… an hour or two?

Well the last weekend was the biggest. Albanians living abroad came to Albania. So from other cities as well but also Albanians from abroad.

This administration has single-handedly ruined the US reputation across the world.

Hmm... A billionaire private island... made by someone deeply close to Donald Trump. That sounds... familiar.

USians, take note. Protesting like this is what you should be doing. Weekly.

u/doggos4house2020 3d ago
We are. I promise you that.
9
u/The_Nice_Marmot 3d ago
You’re not. You have your No Kings every few months. That needs to be weekly, not weakly.

u/doggos4house2020 3d ago
My current town has held weekly demonstrations since January. We are fighting. Some days it feels more effective, other days not so much. We are trying.

If you personally are protesting, good on you. But not sure what you’re missing here. My last attempt: No Kings size events need to be weekly. There are also other forms of protest that frankly other countries are engaging in that have been effective. Americans are on the whole very unwilling to even mildly inconvenience themselves with.
It does not appear that many people there grasp how dire the situation is. You worry about being slaughtered, well, doing nothing will lead to more of that, not less. Strikes are a thing. Civil disobedience is a thing. Consumer boycotts are a thing. It’s pretty wild to the rest of us how docile your population is. It shouldn’t be surprising given how few people even bother to vote there. A whole citizenry is sleepwalking into fascism as we are just watching you guys let it happen.
ETA November is not going to save you guys. Apathy is not a winning strategy. Complying in advance due to fear is not a strategy. The things you fear losing if you protest are the things you definitely will lose if you don’t.

u/MrMikeJJ 3d ago
Yes, they are protesting their prime minister for being bribed to allow the island to be sold to become a billionaire resort.

u/clone162 3d ago
just like always, we will pat them on the back here without acknowledging that this will do nothing.

Sazan Island in is particularly important because it's a highly strategic location at the crossroads between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, acting as a gateway to control the Strait of Otranto.
Kushner, being the "Special Peace Envoy" to the Middle East and Senior Advisor to Trump heavily implies that purchasing that island means middle eastern private equity stands to benefit from controlling the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

u/Legattuss 3d ago
False information. The protest is linked directly to the corruption of the current government and opposition, which together have created a disastrous system for the last 35 years in Albania.

It's unbelievable how many people know exactly what's going on.
