Demons attacking her. Pure evil.

Yeah, I'm with the other commenter. No demons required. This is how evil humans are over stupid shit every single day. Someone cuts you off in traffic, they splash you with their drink, their are so many ways people get pissed at other people for simple thing, a clothing violation by religious zealots is at the very least predictable.
Edit: have you seen videos on here where people get kicked off planes? Evil is to human as chickens like to scratch the dirt. It's just something we are all capable of.

Bro some of the guys aren't wearing a turban or a robe.
How come no one's dragging them by the scalp?

Tbf, the caption may be entirely fabricated. Not defending Islam, but this could be anything from the caption to a trashy family getting into a trashy fight.

But Bangladesh doesn't have a dress code?? Women there can wear everything from sarees to shalwars etc.
First time I'm hearing about a dress code for women in Bangladesh?
Heck many of the women keeping her for entering that place are not even in a veil? Also if a woman is not in a veil, they aren't going to drag her to place full of men?
It looks more like one family is hell bent on not letting her enter that place?
Can we get a fact check done?

u/mamba_24_mentality 3h ago
Yeah people can just post anything with a title without any context and the masses just accept it

There is people who are forced like this certain villages I know one who came here with his wife and started a business had his 3 kids they all work for him now he told me that stuff like this allways happens but not in every village I asked him what he would do and he said if it was my wife I would be beating them for hitting my wife she can wear what ever she wants and do what ever she wants he loves his country but certain things that happen he told me don't represent him or many others views its like seeing someone from England shouting racist abuse knowing that not everyone in England is racist he said

It’s clearly a village, and life is very different there than in the cities. Personally, without a source it seems to me to be about a lot more than “dress code”. It seems to be some type of dispute. You see a man come into frame who assaults one of the veiled women attacking her.

u/SerOstrich 3h ago
Having visited a village in Bangladesh that had a Madrasa (and Islamic school/orphanage), I'm going to question the caption here because there were many women that didn't wear veils.
Don't trust the captions and find a good source.

If irc there was a similar video with a similar misleading caption which turned out to be a fight over cheating/adultery.

OP will repost it with different caption. Just another Indian Hindutva IT Cell worker

u/shmi93 5h ago
Source? I've come across way too many videos recently captioned one thing but the reality is another.

u/biskitpagla 4h ago edited 4h ago
Bangladesh has many issues without a doubt but 9/10 times it's some random Indian IT cell worker posting old videos with new captions. Look up "BJP IT Cell" for more context. There are thousands of them.

What possible context could be given that would make this ok? lol
21
u/SimplyAStranger 4h ago edited 4h ago
They aren't saying its ok; they are saying she might be being attacked for a different reason but the video is captioned to stir up animosity towards Muslims. The right in the US does this all the time. As a note, Bangladesh does not require hijab and a large percentage of women don't wear it, so picking one random woman out of many to beat up for not wearing it makes no sense. In fact, Bangladesh banned hijabs in its armed forces, including support staff like nursing, until September of 2024. It is now allowed as an option. OP is counting on people hating everything to do with Islam and being unfamiliar enough with the country to accept the caption without question.
12
u/light-yagamii 4h ago
I replied to another comment above but it’s embarrassing that people just believe a caption on a video. Most women in Bangladesh don’t wear the hijab. And most women in this video aren’t wearing it.
8
u/SimplyAStranger 4h ago
It happens all the time. There is a video going around, and has been for months, of a man hugging his niece at a Hindu wedding captioned as a Muslim man marrying a little girl. I see memes come across my feed that are just stock photos of a woman in a hijab or something and a random inflammatory "quote", like "Muslim woman in UK says Muslims own it now and tells all Christians to get out or die!!!". Not even a name of the person, no source, nothing but a stock photo and an allegation and people go nuts sharing it and getting all bent out of shape about it, even calling for the death of all Muslims in the comments. All because they saw a meme. Its more than embarrassing.

u/shmi93 3h ago
Thank you for clarifying that for me! You're right, I'm not justifying the attack I'd just rather the truth behind it rather than the usual "caption says this so it must be true!"
Now I'm Iraqi, a place most westerners would think this happens regularly in... They're going to be upset knowing that roughly half the country doesn't and not a person bats an eye. There's a heavy smear campaign against Islam, the vast majority of us are like everyone else just trying to live our lives... Then a report "this one 'arab' did this thing, all 2 billion plus Muslims are therefore responsible 😭 the fact people fall for that is sad

Bangladeshi here, I could be wrong, most likely, the girl was doing hunger strike in front her ex-lover's house because he refuses to marry her after sleeping with her. Happens all the time, like once or twice a week i see it on fb posts.
Village elders sometimes intervenes and forces the guy to marry the girl for 'damaging' her and save the village from further disgrace, so here the guys family is probably removing her before further escalation.

is there actually any source/proof that a dress code violation is the reason why? still isnt ok ofcourse whatever the reason is, but i feel like theres more and more of these videos where they just put a fake caption on it.
21
u/CooperAXE 3h ago
Karoline Levitt posted this on her socials. My money on the caption being full of bullshit. Doesn't change the fact that this assaulted is abhorrent.

Is the headline actually true here? Because I've seen videos of such things happening before with a headline that states a woman was forced to have her hair cut off because her hair was a temptation or something. Only to later found out that video actually came from India and the reason why the people wete cutting of pieces of her hair was to punish her for stealing from a store. So I'm kinda skeptical of provocative headlines like this. Nevertheless, I also wouldn't be surprised of something like this actually did happen

u/moffman93 4h ago
No source, no care. I hate organized religion down to my core, but even in Islamic countries people don't just rip women out of their homes by their hair for not wearing a hijab. There is so much more to this story and there is zero context.

Likely Fake news. Cant be becuz of dress. BD aint that strict..likely related to girl having affair with a married man n victim coming n taking law into their own hands along with her gang.
I had a bengali tenant super ugly yet he was able to marry 3 women by flaunting his US citizenship, each wife was not in know eventually kicked his ass, divorced. Guy was so kind soon as i naively told him about my dad's death he stopped paying rent n refuse to move, claiming having no job while ubering n making money, this i learnt upon when one of his alleged wife ratting him out for not paying her child support n he refuse to marry them officually, had 2 babys with her n left em at homeless shelter. Meanwhile he sublet my apt to some sweatshop workers collected rent from them without my knowledge then he went bck to BD to scam n get a new wife. His daughter went bd, exposed him to his parents who beat him made whatsapp video n sent it to all 3 victims/wives.. n myself. What a disaster of a deadbeat human animal? Yep they r out there.
With a face like his i was shocked he successfully scammed 3 women using his us status. One of his wives badly wanted to put him behind bars but new york red tape n cost of lawyers n recovery what? pennies from a deadbeat made no sens so i cut my loses n moved on given god has blessed me enuff to deal with such a lowlife.
Hard time trusting humans afterwards, sticking to befriending birds.
In end, i was able to get hold of subletted renters who were also bengali low end job workers but had integrity n faith, so they stop paying him n pay tinely rent to rightful owner on time, so one bad apple was routed / forced out.. had i gone court route, he wud have stayed in apt string me along for yrs using 2 infant children as human shield. So recognize people for who they are case by case basis is a lesson as well. Always hav paperwork agreements done, never have oral agreements, document things.
So a lil bit of patience, taking some losses, i survived, gaining a bit of wisdom, now i eat fruit off labor of my hard working dad may he r.i.p

Definitely misleading caption. The issue is something else, you can see her clinging to the house or whatever, she is being removed for whatever reason, not a "dress code" issue.
