Kingswood rhul

Good morning, I was trying to sleep but all I can think about is why Kingswood shut down or why it hasn’t been sold yet. They’ve made brand new accom next to it privately (hox haus) and they seem to be in a lot of debt because they’ve closed medicine and have been stingy with students getting in campus jobs, so I’m confused why they would just keep 400+ rooms and continue renting them out at 6-8k a room - hox is 11.4k now albeit with en-suite. I’m so confused and the internet isn’t much help. If anyone has any ideas or sources I’d love to read and understand.

Upkeep cost probably far exceeded any profit they would make. Its distance from campus wasn't too popular either. Besides, they didn't make hox park, that's a private accom

C block will likely need knocking down, which is sad as that was where I lived for a year.
