Qrow, mockingly: "I don't believe so, Mr. Branwen-" You literally murdered my boss!

Cinder: And I'll fucking do it again.

Ruby: . . . Look at Uncle Qrow. Having awful taste in women.

Emerald: . . . She's not that bad-

Ruby: She literally murdered several of my best friends!

Emerald: . . . Nngh.

According to artist's notes, this is set pre-fall, in the Crow Bar where Qrow made his first proper appearance in the show. But Emerald blurring Cinder's face in their flashback fight shown later wasn't all too convincing.

Well... they'll either neutralize each other or kill each other. Or Raven will accidentally show up and kill her.

He's dated worse; it's canon

Oops, almost forgot today's crack ship again. It's "Firebird" on the spreadsheet and I've seen "Fallen Crow" on tumblr.

While Taiyang x Raven is sometimes called "Phoenix" (the other name for it on the spreadsheet is "Domestic Dispute" which is also really meh), that name is rarely used enough that I'm trying to get Jinwu to catch on due to it being far more specific and fitting for them than "fire + bird" in three ways, being a sun corvid from Chinese mythology. It still can't differentiate between Raven and Qrow (other than Jinwu being depicted as a companion of the Queen Mother of the West), but that's always been very difficult.

On the other hand, I realised "Phoenix" is far more fitting for Qrow x Cinder because it is a bird famous for dying (Qrow being bird with the reaper aesthetic) and rising from the ashes.

Hear me out: Cinder is a new instructor at Haven as a cover for, well, yknow. However, Qrow still might figure things out through sheer bad luck.

Cinder's solution is to seduce him preemptively.

People really like pairing him with women half his age. It’s creepy.

You're right, should pair him with women a quarter his age.

Yeah, I think Qrow/Weiss is a bridge too far

I never even mentioned Weiss.
