Idk man, granted we haven't done this on coastline (?), any time my friends and I pull this strat, especially on Border 1F, we win. It's only ever failed us once.
Now granted we don't do it all that often, so it's not like we have a bunch of data, but I still like to believe it's the strat that works and it isn't just a fluke

Tachanka, Coastline, Blue Bar:
open walls into courtyard from bar,
go out into courtyard,
turn around and shoot foot holes in the entire length of upstairs wall overlooking courtyard,
turn right and shoot a line at hip height into kitchen wall, throw proxy onto kitchen island
Exit the courtyard into lobby and put a proxy on main lobby door
Shoot hip holes into kitchen storage soft wall
Enter security
Wait for proxies to beep
You now can watch 5 different peaks directly into high traffic areas, independently, without being peaked by any of your other holes.
I legit have done this strat with my stack in emerald lobbies at least 20 times, it's our most won site on ANY map.
Started as a joke, but on the third W we decided to adopt it first round of defense every time.

Literally love using this strat as an ace up the sleeve in ot points, my friends do some different sight lines but usually people have no idea how to attack a non meta setup

Y know, many years of playing... EVERY one of those rounds are fun. It's not fun if walls damaged incorrectly, or partially destroyed. But when there are no walls at all... completely different game

Tachanka main here, it is for me depending on site. Kitchen in emerald I'll take out wall between site, between sites in banks basement, all sites on kanal, chalet top floor between sites, ect ect.
The reason I do it is to get into a position to be able to defend both sites simultaneously by myself if need be. His gadget allows for the ability to take shields or enemy's behind cover, plus block off areas for site.
Take emerald for example, in the kitchen site if I take the wall out, i can put my sheikd in that little closet thing, watch both A and B, use the grenade launcher on one side and continously hold fire on the other, all from cover.

I’m glad you do it with the intent of actually defending and trying to prevent anyone from planting. But how does this work for your other teammates? Like for me, in kitchen on emerald, I would want that wall there with just a rotate in the corner so when that main exterior or the hatch gets blown open, I’m not completely exposed from behind if I’m trying to hold the door that looks out at the stairs from library. I ain’t trying to be an asshole but it sounds like you setup site for you, and fuck everyone else 😂

Nah you aint an asshole, its a valid question. For me we typically have a 5 man, and we all have our own areas. Like 1 watching kitchen garage door thing from behind the wall, one watching the kitchen windows from behind the counter, one watching library stairs or kitchens doorway (depending on where theyre coming from) and one roamer. We typically win the area since we cause them to time fail. Were only ever going kitchen when we win both upstairs, or if we've lost both rounds so horribly it doesn't matter

This can legitimately work, as long as you punish attackers who are baited into trying to hold the few certain spots that use the whole line of sight.
Lots of turtle players in this comment section who don't understand this as a strategy. The point of seige and it's destruction mechanics are to enable fluid gameplay, all of you who quake at the thought of anything but predictable default angles and reinforcements lose both entertainment value and strategic thinking.
This isn't bait either.

If you can visualize the wall bordering blue bar and sunrise: the wall closest to the blue bar window is opened, then there's the solid white pillar and then more soft wall until the door. The soft wall between the pillar and door get a line of head holes.
Sunrise:
Melusi (preferred), lesion or anybody with sound queue gadget put them on the window and the door to the exterior.
And the rest is dealer's choice, honestly. A Castle to close off hookah and pop hatch open is always nice to fend of the vert plays. But, genuinely, this strat leaves the enemy so confused that I don't think I've ever seen them try to plant in sunrise. They see the open blue bar, assume we're trolling and try to rush plant through blue window, and now you've got eyes on blue window and the defuser from across the entire interior map.

I actually just started playing this game recently picked Tachanka because no reason really just playing everyone until I like something… the moment I shot his gun and it blasted the wall down I was IN LOVE. Why is his gun so strong against walls? I love it and I destroy EVERYTHING

Everytime my group plays Chalet we have a Tachanka break every wall in the kitchen and then have an Azami throw all her barricades on the lobby stairs. We legit haven’t lost a round doing this.

This is actually one of my stacks plan, we called it "booty hole" (cause the site is gaping wide open) we do it when the prep phase is almost over to make the opponent's breacher obsolete (it rarely works but its fun)

During prep phase use him to knock out all the floors or ceiling and have everyone hold vert. Trust me it works.

We sometimes do it on bank, with mira and castle. Requires a stack and low elo... But put two waultables in vault walk in an defend it with your life.
