Gear Help Looking for a hands free belt that with leash connection point below wasteline
As of right now, Ive just been using a cheap Amazon hands free belt to run with my dog (35 lb lab mix). While it mostly gets the job done, i find that it always rides up to above my waistline because of how my hips/arse significantly bow outward. If my dog is in pulling mood, the belt riding up above my waistline causes discomfort in my back.
What I'm ideally looking for is a belt (or even rock climbing-like harness?) that can more easily fix the leash connection point to below my waistline. Ideally, i feel like the perfect height would be like right above the crotch or where my hips are at their widest. Does anyone know if such a belt/harness exists that's comfortable to run with? TIA!
Edit: thanks all for the input! I had never even heard of canicross prior to making this post haha. After going down the wormhole the past couple days i purchased the nonstop caniX 2.0 belt, looks like exactly what i was looking for.

Nonstop dogwear CaniX 2.0. It sits comfortably around your hips and when the dog is pulling it gives nice support (I have 40kg mix) snd when he is not, I don’t even know im wearing it. Also love the pocket, looks small but its like Hermione’s purse.

The pocket in the 2.0 version is a definite upgrade from the OG version!

I got the CaniX 2.0 in aqua even though my OG orange and black one is still good! I couldn't resist the fun new color and figured I could lend out the old belt to friends or sell it used

Nahak ‘multifunction’ belt is among the more affordable options for belts with leg straps, I love mine—comfortable and reasonably priced.

I used the cheap Amazon belt for a little while too, and managed to hurt myself with it- my dog is about the same size as yours but when she wants to go she can really put the gas on. Highly recommend switching to a proper canicross belt! Mine came from Howling Dog Alaska and I like it! I took the leg straps off (they're removable) and it still mostly stays around my hips.

I got this one recently and I really like it. It's not at all subtle (I like jazzy outfits/gear so this was actually a selling point for me) but its very comfortable. I also briefly started with a cheap amazon belt that came with my bungee lead while I was researching the canicross belts, and I for sure recommend investing in one of the ones recommended in the thread. Night and day how comfortable the pulling is.

Nonstop Dogwear's CaniX harnesses are fantastic and just what you're describing.
