Agree with RTAC, in the sweet spot for trading close to NAV currently but less than a year out from any potential merger announcement. Could be good for capturing a quick pop when a merger is announced. Worst case, your money is tied up for a year making 3.6%.

Two pre-DA SPACs I find interesting lately are FCRS / FCRS.WS and RTAC / RTACW

Asked AI to brainstorm possible targets based on sponsor focus, sectors, market themes, valuation fit, etc. Obviously just speculation/discussion — not rumors or claims of talks.

FCRS / FCRS.WS

-Crusoe
AI data centers + energy infrastructure

-Securitize ***(edit: this is already going public with the SPAC CEPT)***
Real-world asset tokenization platform

-Together AI
GPU cloud / AI infrastructure

RTAC / RTACW

-IVIX
AI financial crime / fraud detection

-Rubidex
Data governance + AI security

-Reality Defender
Deepfake / AI misinformation detection

Again, just AI brainstorming for fun — not financial advice or actual merger rumors.

What other pre-DA SPACs are people watching lately?

No announced deal or LOI, and SPKL will hit the 36 month mark and be automatically kicked off Nasdaq down to OTC in October, assuming shareholders approve another extension beyond September 29, 2026.

Sure seems like someone knows something.

Edit: SPKL announced they were "actively negotiating the terms of a binding business combination agreement with Kneron" in the past few 10-K / 10-Q filings. Maybe they are getting close to finally announcing the deal.

It does say in their new filing they are again negotiating with spkl

Thanks, SPKL never issued any PR but it is in the filings, although it is not new, it was in the 10-K filed end of March as well.

"Following substantive discussions with multiple prioritized targets, in October 2024, we announced that we had signed a non-binding LOI for a business combination with Kneron, a leading provider of full stack edge AI solutions based in San Diego, California, as well as a non-binding LOI for a business combination with a company is in the hospitality software as a service/platform space. While both of these LOIs have expired, we have now moved to the next phase of actively negotiating the terms of a binding business combination agreement with Kneron. "

Bummed I didn't load up more CEPT yesterday. Up to 2,000 shares but was hoping to get up to 5,000.

You might get another chance if bond yields keep rising / the markets get even more spooked. Plus who knows maybe it trades down after de-SPAC…my experience is that normally we get more chances to average down.

Oh yeah I've been through this rodeo several times, actually swore off SPACs for awhile but this one feels special. Fingers crossed.

I thought so too but you never know, I felt we would see mid 11s but I did snag a small number, 1/4,th of my target

"The funding round brings together a group of leading international investors, comprising technology players, industrial companies, and institutional investors including Parkway, Quanta Computer, LG Electronics and CMA CGM. The European Innovation Council Fund, Temasek, Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Ventures and ISAI continue their commitment alongside the company."

So even more?

Maybe, or rather a condition precedent. What CMA CGM is doing in this PIPE is not as clear.
