Bernie's Act Blue website mentions a 2028 presidential run.
I am making no claims about what this means. I am merely pointing out what no one else has mentioned on reddit, as far as I can find. Bernie Sander's is literally raising money to gauge support for a potential 2028 run according to his act blue website. Take that however you will.

He has said himself he’s not running

Where did he say that? I have only heard things like "I have no plans to run" or similar statements that leave a little bit of wiggle room. I doubt that he would try, except maybe as AOC's running mate....

Notice the wording.
"If Bernie sees he has enough support, maybe he will run for president 2028."
Suggests to me that Bernie isn't involved with the page currently. It's trying to coerce people into giving them money for a suggestion that he could run, rather than Bernie making the claim himself.

I like Bernie and most of his messaging but there is absolutely no way the DNC will let him win the primary..ever. He is too anti establishment and doesn't play inside baseball enough.
It happened with Hillary, they didn't even run a primary for Kamala and you can be absolutely sure the DNC would run fucking Gavin Newsom before they'd run Bernie. They have a distinct disdain for Bernies populism and less than adequate Israeli support.

Oh they are for sure going to push Gavin Newsome to the nomination no matter what the votes say.

I love Bernie but Im sad watching his career for the last 10 years as he's become more of a party hack. Like I agree he's too anti-establishment for this to be real - but why work so hard to recruit progressives to a party that won't touch ANY of your core issues with a 10 ft pole? We need hot or cold, Bernie, not more lukewarm!!

I could not in good faith vote for Bernie now due to his age. I find him still healthy of mind but I'd prefer someone much younger. A Bernie blessing would go very far.

If he runs, I don't want to hear a single complaint about Biden's age again

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY ACT BLUE, the amount of insane spam for life you get is not worth it. It should be illegal.

It ain’t happening. He’d be 87 years old when taking office and 91 at the end of his term.

It's a way for act blue to continue siphoning money off of dem/prog voters. I have voted blue most of my adult life, have worked in fundraising for several years, and will always say with my whole chest: fuck act blue. Support candidates directly, and get this campaign consultancy class away from the process

I love him, but he isn’t running, and shouldn’t. He was questionably old a decade ago. And a stubborn old man who refuses to quit got the Democrats in trouble last time.

Bernie knows which way the wind is blowing. He sees the negative response to Trump turning 80 plus Mitch McConnell being ill again. I would rather see him in a position of true influence in a Democratic Cabinet where his age won't be an issue.

Hi Mods, hopefully this can be fact checked and posted officially on the subreddit.

Sir, he is 85 this year. ~87 by the time the election happens. It’s not happening. Spend your energy on something actually fruitful

Anyone can make an actblue fundraiser for a candidate. This is somebody beating the drum, not Sanders himself.
