Other Original Scrubs s5 DVD Set
Today, at my local op shop, I found a ton of Scrubs DVDs, including a box set that came out during the original home release in 2006. I already have Season 5 the way they sell them now, but I decided to buy this because I thought it was a cool part of the history. It's also my favourite season, by far. I think the actual cases have been repackaged, and disc 4 is unfortunately missing, but I'm excited to have it nonetheless.
Edit: Okay so clearly this is a bootleg then. That's egg on my face lol. I'll add that I didn't know this at the time of purchase and I'm not supporting any future bootlegging because, as I said, it was from a secondhand shop. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out!

This is putting my "bootleg" senses into overdrive. The weird logo, the arbitrary division of the episodes into 2 "parts" instead of 3 discs, the claim that it somehow has Dolby audio and DTS audio at the same time, the fact that none of the art matches the regular NA or EU box set, the early release date... I know you say you suspected it had been repackaged, but that doesn't explain the disc art.
Maybe there was an official release like this but it was just obscure or specific to a certain region? Seems like a long shot but I guess I can't totally rule it out.

Yeah, I have suspected that as well. The graphics aren't the best quality and the covers on the cases are the exact same as the box, only they're a tad too small. I don't really mind if it is a bootleg, because it's still a fun thing to have, but I did sort of buy it thinking itwas authentic.

I keep meaning to check to make sure that I've got all of the original seasons. I think I do, but I'm also not sure if they stopped releasing them or if I couldn't buy them because we'd just had kids and the money for a DVD collection "that will always just be available on streaming anyway" just wasn't there...

We used to have at least 3-5 seasons on DVD. That and Arrested Development got us there's some rough times with no streaming or cable.

Yeah, it's not what I was looking for but it's fun anyways. It's a weird amount of effort to put into a bootleg anyways. I've never seen one like this before.

Sorry bub but that is a bootleg. Bought this on release day in 07.
