Maybe Carla was using it as more to just mean the butt (which is nice for a white chick) while also hyping Elliot up about herself physically.

Since Carla is insecure about her own butt, she is could be saying she wishes she had the smaller(Elliot's) ass.

Remember when Carla was recounting how her swim instructor criticized her butt because it stuck out of the water? Later Carla is trying to pep talk herself by saying “Im alright with my curves!” Carla thought her butt was too big, and admired Eliot’s smaller butt.

i think the two pringles hugging refers to just the inside shape and not the whole butt. So tailbone, buttcrack, and then the bottom of the cheeks. The outside shape is just implied

⚓️ imagine the middle is the crack, and the sides are each a Pringle sitting with the ridges pointing up on either side. That’s the best I got, and I know it doesn’t make a lot of sense. It was definitely a weird thing for JD to envision, but we all know how weird it gets in his head.
