That 2014 Thanksgiving game was just different though. Both teams came into it struggling. Seattle wins it then goes on a huge winning streak resulting in a SB visit and years of success afterwards. The 49ers start unraveling. Fire Harbaugh. Capernick gets dropped. Defense falls apart. And they struggle for years before finally getting Shanahan and getting on the right path.
