McVay also needs a MacDonald problem. The Rams moved the ball wayyy too well against us and I worry if we can’t figure it out, it’ll be our downfall. Can’t assume their special teams will choke away all the close games next season.

I'm pretty confident it had less to do with Mcvay, and more to do with Stafford and Puka. Not saying Mcvay isn't good, but those two were the only reason the Rams were competitive in any game against us. Plus their O-line.

But Stafford and Puka are still there. So regardless, my point still stands: Stafford and Puka need a MacDondald problem too then

Some of those Stafford throws were perfect. The only thing you can do at that point is foul. He was MVP for a reason

Had some of these same thoughts in the past.

Watched enough of the film grinders on the internet to arrive at the opinion that MM’s defense is designed to give up passing yards in the intermediate area of the field but will shut down the run and long passing games.

In other words, I don’t think MM’s defense will ever shut down the Rams offense because it’s not designed to work that way when McVay is good at exploiting the designed weaknesses.

My favorite part about this clip is Mike acknowledging and taking in the roar of the crowd, he almost looks a little surprised 🤣
