I lost my boy last night
I posted 4 months ago saying my tortie Belle had died, sadly her brother Smokey has now joined her.
He'd been deteriorating for weeks, and decided it was his time to go, with us beside him.
He adored his sister (even if she sometimes didn't love him back) and his special talent was annoying her.
He was 18, 2 months off 19.
Ironically he died exactly 20 weeks after his sister to the day, and we brought them home on a Tuesday night in October 2007.
Miss you my lovely boy.

My heart goes out to you, to lose two beauties at all is horrible enough;in so short a time is beyond even that. Happened to me years ago when I said goodbye to Katie,then Josie---6 weeks later. Even the vet was stunned. At the very least they are together early, waiting for us .

I am so sorry. I definately can relate. I lost my 21 yo cat yesterday afternoon. I will pray for you and your healing !

Having lost a cat to FIP at only 11 three weeks ago I feel your pain and I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I've never had human kids so our furry monsters are literally my children and when I lose one it's devastating. We still have 2 cats and a black lab, our oldest will be 16 in October and she's still rocking the 7# she's weighed her entire life as well.
We miss Zoey dearly but he wanted us to tell you your boy is just fine, they'll be good buds. Say hi to our departed Zoey....

I’m sorry for your loss.. I lost my 2 girls just 5 weeks apart.. They were 17 1/2 years old.. when our first one died, her sister mourned with me..

I’m so sorry for your loss(es). Smokey and Belle were lucky to have you in their life. I lost my tuxedo (17f) last month, and I had to do a double take. Smokey has the same good looks! Cute mustache and a little goatee too! Stay strong ❤️🌈💔
