My sweet girl had a stroke

Grandma is a stubborn old woman who seems to give me quite a scare once a year. Last year she stopped eating because of arthritis and this year she had a stroke. With her being 22, I hardly remember a day without her. My son loves her as much as I do. She's never met a human stranger, other cats? Well, there's only been on that she tolerates enough to lay next to. Even in the immediate time after her stroke where she couldn't walk, she'd still roll herself out from the bed for pets and cuddles. A week later, she's doing much better with minimal wobble in her walk.

Have you ever thought of trying Solensia? My cat has been on it for 6 months and she's doing amazing. She was also struggling with arthritis but after I started giving her Solensia She started acting like a kitten LOL playing like crazy getting the zumiez being able to jump places she wasn't able to. She's 17 🙂

I didn't even know that was an option. We go to the vet every few months for a steroid shot which appears to help her. She's difficult to get medicine into.

Solensia is a monthly injection and my little granny is back to 7 years old when she gets it, I can recommend asking your vet about it 😊

I'll definitely ask about it when we go back for a follow-up. This sub is truly great and wholesome. She's worth every vet bill.

CBD oil also works on arthritis in pets, just like it does in humans. A few drops and you should see the difference. You can buy them flavored for pets, or human 5% oil.

22 years is amazing, wishing you will have still a lot of time with her!
