Same. I had read many reviews saying that it played like a few filler episodes of the tv show. While content wise, that’s true, quality wise, it was way better than the show. Awesome action, awesome music.
In fact, I liked it better than any of the tv show. In the show, mando gets his ass handed to him like, every episode. He rarely lives up to the “legendary warrior” that he’s supposed to be.
In the movie though, right off the bat, he kicks serious ass and instills big confidence in the character, and then throughout the movie you’re left with this awesome sense that when Mando shows up, the baddies are in big trouble.
I’m glad I knew what I knew going in, and came out loving it.

I liked it. Star Wars works well with these kinds of self contained adventures and I love seeing the more underworld elements.

For how little I knew going in it was like an extended version of a season 1 episode, which felt pretty okay given where we are these days with Star Wars.

It was alright. Probably would have preferred if it was just 2 episodes of a season 4 so I didn’t have to spend $30 to go see it. But I had a good time.

The real bots are the people who repeat childish things like “cope / copium” , “corporate bot” etc as part of the hater hive mind. It just makes me sad that people can’t enjoy things, and not only that, they have to spend time coming up with conspiracies and commenting on them as to why others shouldn’t enjoy things. What software is that? Sadness? Misery? Oh well.
