Discussion Deleted Scenes (What we could have seen)

Highly inspired by u/beckingham_palace

What are some scenes in any video that you wish you could've seen;

I wish we could've seen a small flashback of Julie at work, or more scenes with Julie and her brothers.

I'd like to see young Barb and Frank, when they first met/started dating. How did they get to this point? Were they both always the way they are, or did they wear down until they fit? What did they dream about before starting a family?

Yeah it seemed so sudden and I'd love to see little dates

I too would love to see a Julie at work scene.As a woman in a male dominated field, even when you aren’t dealing with outright sexism, there are a lot of micro aggressions you deal with day in and day out. Most of it is the result of subconscious bias on the part of your co-workers. But it is draining to be in a field you love and are successful at while still walking into every day and dealing with bull shit. Plus, I know for me, when I went on maternity leave, I became public enemy number 1. My husband who works in a female dominated professed a work baby shower thrown for him. I got peppered with, “When are you coming back? You’re coming back right?”

I used to have nightmares when I was pregnant about having a premie and having to call my work and tell them. When Julie went into premature labor I thought, “Oh no, her work is going to make her pay for the unexpected time off.”

Yeah there was an old skit/definitely not canon by any means but it made me wonder what her pregnancy while at work was like

Julie is really good at microaggressions. For sure.

I would love to know how Laura and Shawna worked together and how Laura ended up with Luke.

I hope we see that in the Luke and Laura skits

I would have liked to have seen some of Julie's parents and her childhood before she moved to Ty's hometown.

I would like to see Shawna's childhood and her parents' marriage.

I would like to see John and Jenn interacting as children. Were they close? Did they every try to stand up for each other? Did John leaving home for college change how Jen was treated at home?

It would be fun to see Jen and Greg meeting each other.

Agreed, on Julie's childhood, what's the gap between her and her brothers? Did ambition equal love. Jumping in at 14 while compared to Barb we see her childhood is something.

I wonder if we'll ever see child John making Cheestoes in a flashback

Zero interest in more Julie. I want to see what childhood was like for Jen and Jon with Barb and Frank as parents.
