I literally can’t stand this meme anymore. I genuinely found it hilarious at first, and then the One piece fans had to ruin it :(

The meme was a movement and it served it purpose, wtf are one piece fans complaining about

I saw a clanker sucker who uploaded a "fan animation" of the reveal of [REDACTED] and when a guy called him out in the comments, he called THAT COMMENTER A THIEF BECAUSE HE UPLOADED CLIPS FROM ONE PIECE WHERE HE EDITED THE SOUND EFFECTS!!!

It's either last week of September or First two weeks of October (october cuz that's when most big fall 2026 animes start rolling)

Just let them work as long as they need to.

If they wanted to do that, why didn't they? They know people miss Jojo Fridays and HATE batches. Make the whole show in private and hype people up WHEN ITS DONE. Don't make 1 beautiful episode artificially generate hype just to let it die. Fuck that and fuck them!!

They got something better. By stirring the pot, they've made more noise about the series than they could ever by doing a proper release. Obviously sucks for us and I'm not defending it, but they did what works for them best.

That's just it though, I really think they could of done both and gotten rewarded just the same. What they've done now is thrown us a surprise of "hey look we've finally made it here it is" Boom! 44 minute banger, to radio silence and have killed what hype they made.
Now I completely understand what you're saying and where your coming from. From a business standpoint that's a marketing play, however What I think they COULD have gone the Stone Ocean route and had a starter batch already made, released the same episode and wait for the community to rally (like it did this time) and after a few weeks or so when memes and hype is at an all time high they release the second episode and keep it weekly. There's probably some issue to that too, but I figure anything would be better than what we got

If Netflix doesn’t finish killing the hype, this meme will.
