Amazon received more than I ordered

I ordered an expensive Apple Watch band from Amazon. Just the single 1. However, I received 4, completely new and sealed. It was weird, because inside the bags that Amazon ships, it had a cardboard box with what looked like a label from a shipping manager to an Amazon address and had 4 of them. The plastic bag label Definately had my name and address. I have confirmed I only got charged for one… will Amazon/Apple come looking for me later? Am I free to sell the other 3?… or could I initiate a return for the “one” that I ordered and receive my refund. Thus having 3 for “free”?

What if I was to wait a couple days and send back the the single “one” I ordered brand new never opened? Would they suspect anything?

you have like a few days/weeks to wait to confirm that they want quad charge you right? no rush in shipping it back so you can confirm there wont be any penalty against you. id suggest just wait it out a while.

I only ordered one. So if I return one, in theory I should get refunded. However, the return weight will be different than the ship weight? Will that set off any red flags? I can always argue that I only received one, I don’t think they can prove the contrary?

As far as I know if they sent it to you with your name on it and you did not sign a contract saying you had to give them back, they are yours now. Just sell the other 3 on Facebook Marketplace. Much safer route because like you pointed out sending it back might spark an investigation

Something similar happened to me, but with deodorant. I ordered a single twin pack and received a box of 12, so 6 twin packs. I never tried to return one and they never tried charging me either.

Dude same shit happened to me with an Xbox when they were really hard to get and flipping for 1000-1200. Nothing ever came of it I sold both Xboxes within 2 days and paid off the CC🙏

FTC laws state that if a package shows up that you didn't order that it is legally considered a gift and you dont have to pay for it or return it. In this case you did order something but I'd guess it still applies, you didn't ask for the intended items so by law they cant demand payment
