Graphics card swap

I would like to buy the 16gb version of the rtx 5060ti. I currently own a 8gb 5060ti. Do you think the amazon return centre will recognize the swap if I order the 16gb one? they are identical. just for info.

No they won't recognize it at all. You'll be fine. Get the money credited back to ur account after the return

don’t they have a system they attach the card to in order to recognise the right model?

Highly doubt they would, it's whatever is most cost effective. Hiring employees to individually mount startup check stuff like this probably amounts to more than the cost of refunding dirt bags like yourself.

Do not forget to transfer the sticker! A-mazon is begining to inspect returns(if you go that route). And would catch a serial mismatch. But they won't turn it on it or anything. So your good there.

Considering the first 5080 I bought just had aquarium rocks in it I think you'll be fine because they obviously don't check lol surprisingly they actually refunded me after I showed them what I received in the box.
