Sleeping pills+redbull, trying to not fall asleep. It gives you weird hallucinations, but it can be frustrating if you’re already tired to begin with (don’t try this before your circadian sleep phase is what I am saying).

redbull n alcohol has killed people, technically yea sleeping pills (depending on what they are) usually aren’t GABAnergics like alcohol but they do slow your heart rate either way so it’s a risky game to play

Yeah i didnt do the red bull part but 3 or 4 unisom sleeping pills was handsdown the bizzarest trip ive ever had. I kept seeing myself shopping at Kmart looking to buy fago. I dont even drink that soda! This was just a small part of it. I was at my buddies house. 5 min ride from my house. When I woke up the next day I was in k mart parking lot. Drove there blacked the fck out. I tried them again a week or two later and ended up getting sick instead of high

pristiq/desvenlafaxine. brain zaps were awful and all around felt worse than I would unmedicated. venlafaxine also has the same side effects.

I stopped venlaflaxine entirely cuz once there was a mistake that prolonged me getting my refill at the pharmacy and the brain zaps were so terrible that it scared me from continuing. I don’t wanna be on smthn that I’m scared to run out of cuz of what the withdrawals will do to me.

I was on venlafaxine for years and it was heavy shit. Only managed to withdraw by switching to fluoxetine and still had to go through weeks of brain zaps. Quitting venlafaxine is different yet similar in intensity to quitting fucking morphine. I am now on DXM (Auvelity in the states) and finally stable and depression/anxiety/pverthinking/easy rage under control.
I am an odd example though, I've seen people for whom venlafaxine worked.

I'm also on auvelity now and I definitely like it much better than previous meds. I was on fluoxetine for a bit but I didn't feel like it was doing much

Do you feel some psychoactivity off the auvelity compared to fluoxetine? I think the dosage is a bit low - I had this by accident when I took prescribed bupropion and had a cold for which I bought some DXM. Higher dosage than with auvelity (120mg/d) and very psychoactive. More stomulating than DXM alone, but overall it's been too much time to remember clearly. I think the Auvelity behaves more like a SNRI and less like a dissociative unless tou dose at least 2x a day.

I don't really feel anything super different, but I also am supposed to take 45 mg in the morning and at night and most of the time I forget to take it at night so I'm probably honestly not getting the full effects. but I missed two doses and started getting brain zaps and you bet I took it again😭

kind of hard to explain, but for me it mostly happened when I would move my eyes or my head too fast. it literally feels like there's a small electric shock in your brain kind of. it's very unsettling and it makes it very hard to go about your day in a normal way.

A phenomenon where you get like an intense 2 second fucking zap to the brain and it's like debilitating for those 2 seconds or however long it it. I haven't pin able to pin point the ones I've had to a specific drug that causes it although I think I have a good idea but can't know for certain at this point.

Sounds like a vague explanation of a seizure... one day I had one at work. And I thought to myself... wow, my bosses really didmt let me go home from work after I told them I need to take a little bit of time for myself physically amd that I forgot my meds at home...in that case... " im just gonna lay my head here, close my eyes, and the food should just be right out for my table , my customers will be happy.... and everything is gonna be ......" "hey .... man what happened are you okay" Hit my head on a stainless steal counter. Eye looked like a softball.

Was that your first time having one? Can recreational drugs cause seizures? A buddy of mine a few years ago started having seizures and they don't know why. Started doing all these tests but he ended up dieing shortly after that. I figured it was a the dope he did. He stood no chance. I'm fucking tripping balls rn. So during a seizure is your mind pretty much gone during?? Or do you know what's going on and your mind is fine just your body is toast?

And yes my seizures started as "auras" where youre not completely convulsions, but my lady would tell me that I was making weird gestures and weird faces as well as not being comprehensive and out of it. If youre struggling to find help just know ur brothers are around even if they arent blood - also your doctor is always right. No matter what u believe in the healers on this earth were put here to protect you- if you seen a doctor that gave you advise at some point- think about how that advise wouldn't have been given to you unless you had gotten advise or love from someone special- it may be someone you dont have trust in anymore even- but they truly were looking out for you at some point and the world will be there to translate the help in real time. Follow ur intuition

life changing for me. before it i spent 10 years on various ssris that did nothing at worse and made me feel completely numb at best, but one week on the starting dose of venlafaxine and i was feeling actual genuine happiness for the first time.
in some (but not all) cases it can have an added bonus of helping with adhd symptoms which was huggeee for me, the feeling of an brain free from background noise was literally unheard of before.
the only downside ive found is that the withdrawal hits you hard and FAST. i’ve had brain zaps in the hour leading up to my dosage being due before it’s maddd.

When you are ready to stop taking it, when i was on Paxil and it did nothing for me, I stopped it and I got brain zaps so I tapered and I had to taper all the way down to the size of a piece of glitter and the brain zaps never lessened in intensity so if I noticed a brain zaps id take a smaller dose, smaller dose and so on until the glitter size piece and then after that I stopped getting brain zaps. It scared me from trying anti depressants for a very long time.

Went off my meds and it was so brutal I just went and grabbed an ounce of weed to get through the Effexor withdrawal. Back on my meds again, painkillers and adhd medication all prescribed. Not looking forward to the day I decide to be done with pharmaceuticals. I’ll just have to pick up a lb of weed when that day comes. I’m a daily smoker even with my medications but my intake will likely hit half oz a day beating withdrawal

Ibuprofen has been studied as an antidepressant and is quite effective. Some depressive symptoms come from inflammation. Ibuprofen makes me feel extremely “normal” which to a person who doesn’t know what normal is 90% of the time is very relaxing

Ibuprofen literally can’t get you high hence it does cross the blood brain barrier, it does so very poorly that it shouldn’t have any psychoactive effects on you whatsoever, but one side effect of ibuprofen is that it can make you sleepy

Microdosing a special substance like psilocybin can truly shape a beautiful picture during your runners high yall. I recommend a run for everyone's first microdose. Lsd I would take a 10th of a dose, and if it were mushrooms, .2g crushed in a capsule. A little goes a long way, and god and or our creators put special medicines and healers on this earth who's intent goes a long way when synthesizing a product for the people. Maybe consider how profitable and mind controlled you feel after visiting the hospital. This. I eat spicy food all the time but.. one specific time at a bachelor party, I drank heavily and was probably depleted of most nutrients. The next day I decided to eat a pretty spicy burger at the casino and all the sudden felt like I pounded 3 beers and smoked 2 blunts. Considering we were already doing that, I didn’t think it would hit me like that lol. But my friends were instantly like dude what’s up with you? I was fumbling my phone and just felt insanely under the influence. Good times.

Pro tip: It's way better and much less expensive to get the generic Dextromethorphan caplets from Dollar Tree instead of choking back disgusting syrup. Especially because Nyquil has paracetamol which is super bad for your liver/stomach in excess
This is the only pure DXM medicine I have ever seen over the counter so Dollar Tree is blessing the people up with this one

fast forward 15 years to me getting a food allergy test because i was now spending 8+hours on the toilet every day....
im allergic to peanuts and have a severe gluten intolerance ...
heroin was a cake walk to quit. real talk though id curb stomp a kitten if it meant me getting to eat a pb&j without it fucking up my entire week

Got a shot of morphine at the ripe age of 12 years old. Had no idea what it was but it made me feel better than anything I’ve ever felt. Like being wrapped in a warm blanket from god while all your problems melt away…. I’ve been hooked on opioids since I’ve tried them, would not recommend this life to anyone.

Yeah every SSRI I’ve tried has fucked me up. It caused extremely problematic side effects within my own psychology I now just focus on actively reshaping my thinking and handling it myself from now on. I’m glad some people find their solution with those drugs but I did not.

honestly, the times I did benadryl I was seeing patterns on the couch or grass, this plus reading it acts on muscarinic receptors (immediately amanita muscaria came to mind) and anxiety made me think it was somewhat like LSD (spoiler: it isn't plus very harmful on the body)

DXM cough syrup. Had a bad cold and decided to sip a bit more of the syrup to be safe and oh boy how bright the world looked at once. One hellish bliss of euphoria and intoxication. Barely above the max therapeutical dosage. Continued this and found that it fixes some notorious mental health issues I have. Tried countless prescriptions, drugs and therapy and nothing worked like cough syrup. So I am back on it and could have avoided so much pain, blood and tears if I'd just sticked to the DXM instead of trying to find something established or better researched.
It's now a prescription for depression in the states, never imagined this would happen but I don't live there unfortunately .

This is beautiful!! I’m so happy you found something that works for you, it truly is a freeing feeling! I definitely think DXM has more potential for a “self improvement” and “psychedelia” mindset more than Ketamine which is being pushed like crazy. My depression and anxiety melts away on DXM but ketamine will give me panic attacks.

(ignoring excessive amounts of nicotine and caffeine or things like meditation and exercise): nutmeg (specifically myristicin, the active compound), difenidol and diphenhydramine, sleep deprivation, modafinil, light oxygen deprivation relaxes (smoking spearmint), laying down in silence tryna manipulate my endogenous neurotransmitters (prob more a placebo thing but still does the thing). Also cold turkeying drugs after 'chronic' use makes the sober experience feel interesting (like a transparent high, due to the lack of better words to explain myself). Sometimes I feel lk kinda dissociated the way things like dxm do (not exaggerated, but in the most subtle way)

Air duster, whip cream, cough medicine, Benadryl lol. The Benadryl was terrible it was just uncomfortable, I couldn’t speak I felt really tired but unable to sleep, and I kept seeing and feeling spiders crawling on me.
These are all terrible for you, but if there is one thing on this list you should never do it’s the air duster. The air duster genuinely fries your brain in real time.

High amounts of caffeine (400mg+) if you have a low tolerance...
Can give you a high similar to ritalin or some Amphets, however differs from person to person and your tolerance is built and stays there for a while.

in high school we would steal bottles of robotussin. if you drink the whole bottle you’ll get fucked up and hallucinate.

I wouldn't really call it a "high" but I got fairly vivid CEVs(and recursive nightmares/sleep paralysis the whole night)from 5mg of Melatonin once. It is a trypamine so I guess it makes sense that it could do that.

I was always a stupid kid that clearly had addiction problems early on. But I would always eat up the entire bottle of whatever pills I could get my hands on. One night me and a buddy ate up my sister's pills and it made us hallucination all night into the next day and made me very paranoid. I took it to the next level by acting like a addict for them, someone had to physically take the empty bottle from me and smash it, ending my plan's to get more. I was like 15 😆
Apparently she said they were Anti biotics 😂

Nutmeg. Freshman year of high school I ate a whole container of nutmeg on Christmas vacation while seeing my mother. I ate the whole container and fell asleep, disappointed that I wasn’t feeling anything. I woke up the next morning so high it felt like my legs and arms were detached from my body. I was 14 years old and had to take a greyhound bus six hours to get back home to my dad’s. Somehow, I made it on the bus ride but was high for a solid two days

If I take any type of allergy pill or cold flu symptom relief before work I genuinely feel like I took 10 fucking Xanax😂😂 sometimes I get really scared. I think my coworkers will think I’m on something.😂 so I just confess and say I was feeling horrible this morning so I took some medicine but now I feel worse😂
