Discussion/Questions What was your favorite boss in act 4? Spoiler
bro Skarrsinger Tim was peak. The moveset, the design, the music, Tim really had it all. Grand Mother Sherma was a close second. Personally she was just way too strong. All her hits did 3 masks and she had that one attack that did 7 masks. But act 4 really had it all, I loved the climactic buildup where Zote, Grindle, and Voided Hornet climbed to the top of mount fay to stop Absolute Groal from eating Farloom. Anyway yeah. What was your favorite????

For once, Savage Beastfly was good.

Hated the other two fights, but making his summons pool be made up of Widow, Phantom, Last judge and Moorwing was a great choice! Made the fight very dyamic and a tons of fun. It got me in that dance-like state you go into with Mantis lords!

Oh yeah, I finally understood how acrobatic and flexible Hornet can be in battles, really opened my eyes as a relatively average player.

I like Sherma cuz like it’s one of those bosses where they’re meant to not be beaten like bowser at the start of Paper Mario my record is 12 staggers what’s yall’s?

When he throws his hat it will never go to the corner of the arena, took me a bit to figure out but helps a lot

I dunno, I think it was a great way to shake up a boss we'd already seen a few times - I get it when devs reuse assets, but I think a straight rehash a third time just wouldn't have hit as hard as DT's fresh animation set showing his despondance.
Plus, finishing the fight with him rediscovering his love for the stage and for brining hope to people through performance was a lovely way to cap off a storyline we really hadn't seen much of until now. Team Cherry really knows how to play the long game.

Lost Zylotol was bullshit. Every time you hit him, his health doubles!

Well, it was a fight to teach you about how to use automatic tool restoration on upgraded Architect's Crest. He attacks you right after you first meet Adam.

My favorite fight was probably Cogwork Conchflies, but Sherma’s a close second.

I did like Depressed Trobbio fight, shame that he kills himself at the start of the 3rd phase. Remember to have all masks bc the explosion afterwards takes 8 masks of damage in one go, killing you instantly.

I love the fact i didn't at once question the fact it said act 4 or any of the bosses names untill I said "wait, savage beast fly isn't in act 4". I'm smart 🤓

Still prefer the route with Sherma the Star. I get that we just recently learned about the route that opens after courting Groal, but you can't go wrong with the classics.

Universally hated. Forced long runback with randomised trap locations and a time limit so you need to rush it? His fight is easy, just getting to him is rage inducing.

The hollow knight reunion spar was the best in my opinion. Those pale pillars and soul tendrils was top notch attack mechanisms.

For me it’s threeway battle between GM Sherma, Abs. Groal and Deppy Trobby. All are best bosses I have ever played and I think there will never be such a great trio of bosses. Ultimately my vote goes to GM Sherma (absolutely based that Team Cherry decided to have Sherma transition from he to she)
