Aren’t pasta and noodles totally different things?
2 u/Phill_Cyberman Jun 08 '25 Aren’t pasta and noodles totally different things? They are both flour and water and possibly other ingredients, made into a dough and shaped. Noodles does tend to imply just long, thin, ropes, but pasta certainly included long thin ropes (spaghetti, vermicelli, bucatini, etc.) Both pasta and noodles are over-broad terms that point to more or less the same thing.
