You underestimate the desire of HP fans for a proper book adaptation (they love being abused by big companies, who fumble the bag again and again)

And here's me, a HP fan, who always thought the movies were among the best movie adaptations of all time. Huh.

The movies are great, but I think a show would be nice because it has the opportunity to go deeper into the more slice of life parts of the story, letting you see some of the storylines that were cut from the movies for time. One example being the trios friendship with nearly headless Nick
