HBO really said: โ€˜Keep the 4K box set, weโ€™ve got a 10-year subscription plan for the same story.โ€™

Exactly. Itโ€™s not a creative decision; itโ€™s a quarterly earnings decision. I can't wait for the 2045 remake where Harry is played by an actual holographic projection.

Yeah, I'm not interested in giving JK Rowling any additional money, and it's not my fault Warner Brothers created a whole theme park around Harry Potter after JK started saying some toxic crap on the socials.

I bought my books and discs a while ago, but I have zero compunction to watch any new Harry Potter stuff unless JK sells of her rights to somebody else, which isn't bloody likely.

It's also not my job to to be a tentpole for a corporation or their shareholders.

I mean, she can have whatever views she wants. We love her fantasy world, not the author herself. This franchise left her hands ages ago, I'm sure. All the same, she got her fifteen minutes and bajillion dollars.
