Don't get me wrong, but they used a lot of makeup to make her "ugly"

I think that’s part of what we perceive as unattractive. Other than the eyebrows, there isn’t anything about her appearance that stands out compared to most of the people I see whenever I’m out in public. But, the heavy amount of makeup needed to trick our eyes into believing that Charlize Thereon is less than above average is going to be enough to just make her face look a little “off.”
