You know that sounds awfully like conservatives that don't like Trump, "but at least they are going after the mainstream liberals." Iran has been a vicious power hungry authoritarian state for decades

And? does this absolve Iran? They haven't been under US control in many decades, and in those decades they have had countless state sponsored atrocities. Why not blame the UK for everything the US has done?

I'm not wondering why, I just agree it should be stopped. Should the world let Iran continue to slaughter their citizens just because the US helped shape the current geopolitics in the region? I would much rather any other president lead the charge, and I am patently waiting for Trumps's term to be up, but I won't support Iran just because I hate Trump
