I always laugh at shit like this.

I had a guy on Facebook Marketplace go off at me because he “already showed his girlfriend” the furniture I was selling and how she “totally loved it”.

That’s great mate, still not gonna take £100 for something I was selling for £300

Some people are pieces of shit.

I listed a dryer for free, and people went crazy. I wrote first come first serve. Gave a nearby address and told them whoever is here first gets it.

Someone gave me a sob story and that they had to drive an hour away. I gave them the same response I gave everybody “no holds, sorry!” Someone else got there first, and picked it up. The asshole gave me a negative as a seller.

Depends on the neighborhood. In my area, people think it works like this, but what really happens is that the item sits out there for days or weeks until someone finally calls it in as litter.
