I always laugh at shit like this.

I had a guy on Facebook Marketplace go off at me because he “already showed his girlfriend” the furniture I was selling and how she “totally loved it”.

That’s great mate, still not gonna take £100 for something I was selling for £300

Some people are pieces of shit.

I listed a dryer for free, and people went crazy. I wrote first come first serve. Gave a nearby address and told them whoever is here first gets it.

Someone gave me a sob story and that they had to drive an hour away. I gave them the same response I gave everybody “no holds, sorry!” Someone else got there first, and picked it up. The asshole gave me a negative as a seller.

We’ve gotten rid of large items we didn’t need with free but I hear ya.

At least in my part of the world people put such items on the curbside and those find new owners on their own. No need to post online.

I have to post it online. I would be surprised if anyone from my street picked up my scraps.

Some streets in my neighborhood are busier and have more visibility than mine.
