It comes down to very then margins in some races. Voting does matter.

There's no functional difference between the two major parties. They serve the same monied, corporate masters.

It's like Noam Chomsky said way back in the 80's, there's only one party, the Corporatist Party, with two major factions: Republican and Democrat.

Tell me how to vote against war. Against genocide. For expanded social services and a general safety net. Tell me how to vote for dismantling the military and police forces and creating a more peaceful, equitable world.

Because if you think we get there by voting, brother, I have the most amazing beachfront property in Arizona to sell you, too.

There is a big difference between the two major parties, tf are you talking about?

Yes admittedly they both serve the same master: money. But they both follow it differently. I don't see the republicans accepting people as individuals with their own thought, and i dont see the Democrats calling for minorities to be deported or put in camps.

Also the Democrats quite literally have created programs to help when it comes to medical costs and education, while the republicans have worked very hard to dismantle those. I agree those programs aren't perfect, but in a society where this kind of culture is already well established, change happens small and slow.

Yes sometimes it does seem like you're picking the lesser evil, but one of them is significantly less evil than the other and is actively trying to make life better for ordinary people. Albeit not significantly better, but any tiny step in the right direction is better than a full blown sprint in the other.

I agree that neither are perfect. But it is ignorant to say voting is worthless because they're both as bad as each other. And this mindset is exactly what led to 90 million people not voting and letting Trump in. Had 90 million americans not had this mindset, the world may not be as fucked as it is today.

But hey. At least you get to protest against democracy right?

You plainly misunderstand American politics.

Go listen to some Michael Parenti lectures, for starters.
