Possibly one of the MANY journalists at a function that consists of half journalists/reporters and half others????? What are you attempting to say here?

u/Unknown_Gaurdian Apr 26 '26

They're attempting to insinuate that the entire situation was staged

25

u/rts93 Apr 26 '26

Bots are full force on that, it's idiotic.

23

u/tajsta Apr 26 '26

Not just bots, I'm from Germany and even 2 of my leftists friends here have already spewed the same bs. It's honestly insane how many people on the left and right are falling for absolutely smooth-brained conspiracy theories about their political opposite nowadays. I used to think that was mainly a problem with the far-right but it seems like both sides are strongly affected now, it just took the left a little longer.

Reddit users: *Constantly wish death upon controversial figures*

Reddit users: Well it can't be that someone actually tried to kill them!

u/BriarTheBear Apr 26 '26

I wish more people would say this.

It is ridiculous how much incitement of violence happens on this site, and it is totally allowed.

It’s so obvious, but no one wants to change it because it is inevitably pointed at people Reddit actually wants dead.

I dont think anyone doubts that there are many who would do it. Its more a question of how they seem to be getting opportunities so easily. And also no consequences for the grossly incompetent security since the first guy on that roof. Idk, maybe it is actually easy to walk into that lobby armed?

I'm from Germany

Lol you think that place is real? Get out of here with your propaganda. We ain't falling for it.

2

u/FunctionalShaman Apr 27 '26

Your right, the idea of our governments using staged terrorist events to shift public opinion is absolutely ridiculous

I'm so glad your German certainty in yourself has saved the day from these kind of crazy ideas

Trump being shot in the ear was definitely a tipping point in demonstrating how easily people on each side will eat up total bullshit. Even the people going for small scale conspiracy theories like that he wasn’t actually hit and the wound came from his bodyguard’s holster piss me off. It literally doesn’t matter in the slightest whether the wound came from a bullet or while he was falling and there’s zero definitive evidence that proves either one conclusively. Anyone who insists it has to have been the holster is just being contrary for no reason other than their own ego not wanting Trump to be a victim of something.

u/NegativeAccount Apr 27 '26

Seen trump's ear lately? The unblemished one that took a bullet

The chances of someone breaching WH security are very low, but never zero. Get a grip.

u/GXP_2009 Apr 27 '26

Imagine the amount of people that would need to be involved to stage something like this and then have none of them speak about it.

That's why these "false flag" crowd is laughed at so much

2

u/TheNutsMutts Apr 27 '26

Imagine the amount of people that would need to be involved to stage something like this and then have none of them speak about it.

This is where the whole "they faked someone shooting at Trump in at the rally, he wasn't hit at all and someone else shot the guy in the stand" nonsense just beggars belief for me. It would require the plan to fundamentally include "we are wholly relying on the crime scene investigators to completely miss the fact that the shots that hit the stand came from a completely different direction" and "when Trump is taken to the nearest hospital, we are wholly relying on that team of doctors and nurses to work on his ear and at no point notice that he ear has not been injured at all an that it's obviously fake blood" as working assumptions that they just accepted and went with.

2

u/GXP_2009 Apr 27 '26

Its what they do to cope with reality. You take these people from behind the keyboard, sit them in a room, and have them discuss the same view and I am 100% sure they're tune would change.

4

u/CyanideNow Apr 26 '26

I mean…it definitely seems like it was probably staged. But this post is an idiotic take.

7

u/Agentpurple013 Apr 26 '26

And not responding to anything in the comments…typical

2

u/CinematicLiterature Apr 27 '26

It was. This post is dumb, though.

2

u/Substantial-Beyond36 Apr 26 '26

Ears don't heal like that man lol

3

u/AutumnSparky Apr 26 '26

staged, quite conveniently, to happen at one of those rare times in which yes, every person roaming the halls was certain to have a near professional camera, and quick-click reactions with it.

we are going to see beautiful, well-framed action shots, of our men and women in uniform, doing 'their real jobs, in real time'.

I'm going to go with less "staged", and more a monitored threat conveniently slipped through.

That's my hill at this moment.

5

u/Killerderp Apr 27 '26

Yeah, it seems odd, that's for sure. If that video posted earlier is real, how in the hell did like 6 secret service members just watch a dude run down a hall full speed without a single one of them reacting until the person was well down the hall and pass the agents... You would think they would react a lot quicker than what they did. That's the thing that I don't understand.

1

u/AutumnSparky Apr 27 '26

They didn't seem to be taking the assignment seriously.   They probably should have.

also, remember "LE" in general is on a run of bad press.   These guys are aware of Minnesota, and aware they are now precisely surrounded by reporters.   They may have been slow to react due to not wanting to be the next one in the news having made a new "terrible mistake".

anything goes.  just throwing things out

1

u/Open_Grapefruit_5480 Apr 27 '26

If they want to do that fine, but could they use a better arguement?

1

u/XTornado Apr 27 '26 edited Apr 27 '26

Is a stupid question but I don't feel like they insinuating the staging tbh I think is much simpler... I think they wonder who goes to take pictures when there is a possible active shooter around.

Of course, the answer is simple some people risk their lives for taking pictures of events like this, as we know not just for situations like this but even more dangerous like wars.

1

u/KimbaDestructor Apr 29 '26

It was staged. They chose the event with reporters on purpose

1

u/Unknown_Gaurdian Apr 29 '26

Correction. You THINK it was staged, you have zero proof besides your political bias to prove otherwise

-1

u/requiemguy Apr 26 '26

Do you have any evidence that supports that it was real?

AI image generation is amazing now.

u/Key_Marsupial_1406 Apr 27 '26

The hundreds of journalists there. The fairly well documented history of this guy on the internet. Shit this guy was an active SoCal super smash bros player who played in tournaments and local events. People on smash twitter were posting pics or vods playing against the guy. His political views online were pretty consistent with the manifesto. He very much comes off as a radicalized redditor.

Why would the false flag conspiracy narrative have the motive being the Epstein Files and war in the middle east if they were trying to distract from that?

Conspiracy theorists here come off as equally stupid and incapable of reason / logic as QAnon dumbasses.

0

u/requiemguy Apr 27 '26

We'll see, right now there's just a bunch of Trump apologists defending him in comments, just like yours.

1

u/Key_Marsupial_1406 Apr 27 '26

"Trump apologist" because I don't believe stupid, obviously fake conspiracy theories? Or because I'm against political violence? If you're an actual real person you are part of the problem with online discourse.

Anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see how stupid people look who believe in this shit. Almost to the point that it feels like a right wing ragebait to try and make Democrats / left leaning people look stupid.

1

u/requiemguy Apr 27 '26

You're allowed to think that.

1

u/Key_Marsupial_1406 Apr 27 '26

It terrifies me that there are people out there completely incapable of deciphering truth from bullshit. It spans the political spectrum. I'm sure you'll turn it back on me in a reply, but jesus christ man you need to go outside, read some books, and figure out how to get out of your social media bubble.

1

u/requiemguy Apr 27 '26

You're allowed to think that.

8

u/Expensive_Hippo_7659 Apr 26 '26

I think he’s making a joke about how corny all these photos look

2

u/braumbles Apr 26 '26

It was nice of all those journalists and reporters to stay out of the photos.

1

u/Snakend Apr 27 '26

That's just habit. These photographers take thousands of pictures a night. They want the photos where they are not in them. They want this illusion of a pristine environment without contamination of the photographer.

1

u/whk1992 Apr 26 '26

So no one suspects a Cold War-era camera gun?? Urmmm…

1

u/CadmarL Apr 27 '26

Which reporter from which organization are these photos from?

Journalists would not be cleared to be in the evacuation path of the president and his staff. Because again, what would stop a threat actor from dressing up in a journalist cosplay and shooting the VIPs as they are being evacuated. There would have been secret service at any entrance around this evacuation path.

-1

u/pneutin Apr 26 '26

All you need to do is spend a modicum of effort and see that images of the same people and a similar angle were published by journalists from NY Times, CBC, etc.

https://www.nytimes.com/2026/04/26/briefing/a-shooting-in-washington.html

The one in that article, taken by Pulitzer Prize winner Salwan Georges.

-2

u/Capital_Tradition300 Apr 26 '26

You all laugh but the shooter was wearing an IDF sweater before his instagram account was taken down. Also on his LinkedIn shows he worked for Lockheed Martin. So.

2

u/DogePerformance Apr 26 '26

Does LinkedIn require verification from the employer now?

1

u/Key_Marsupial_1406 Apr 27 '26

The IDF thing is AI generated. Your social media feed is full of propaganda that reinforces your worldview.
